If I could choose only one rule...
I’d make my birthday a national holiday, everyone would be off work, paid w/ free drinks at all the pubs. Since she observes TWO birthdays, I would keep in tradition and the people would have two holidays. The reason for the free drinks is because certainly when they (Royals) throw a party of any sort it’s an open bar and alcohol flows freely for themselves and their guests. And if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for us!

The 12 days of no comedy on television - That's not a rule set by the queen. It's more of an etiquette thing out of respect as at that time the country will be in state mourning.
