Correct on walleye. Growing up on Lake Erie, walleye are the most praised fish in the area. But, fishing for them is boring and reeling them in is like dragging a log behind the boat. It does feel good to catch a big one and they do taste good, but I like yellow perch better.

@@Fishman2114 Surprisingly not, because I only started fishing this July. With a few exceptions, trout only reside in streams in the White Mountains and deep lakes during the Summer (I'm in southern NH and limited to bank fishing). I am fully preparing myself for trout season next spring though!
@@BryceCorbittcool bro. I caught my first fish in May, it was a tiny bluegill. Bluegill and hybrids are most of what I catch in a bond I fish. Soon though I want to go to some lakes and catch a walleye and smallmouth, maybe a pike. New Hampshire sounds like they got some dope streams wish I was near some trout bet they taste delicious. Small mouth bc of how they fight, only caught one and I fucking love their power dives they sink like bricks. Good luck fishing bro
@@Joker-ng5zo I love catching hybrids. Caught my first Greengill a month or so ago, and it looked so cool! Catching a unique fish really livens the trip. I'm in southern NH so there aren't really any good trout spots this time of year, but come spring they will be back. I'm also planning to get a cheap baitrunner setup for carp while I fish on the Merrimack. I was wading in it a few weeks ago and had a massive one swim by 10-15ft away from me. Needless to say, I am hooked on fishing hahaha

Next vid we need bullhead catfish (dont let those fuckers bite you or else it wont let go till thunder rolls through) and Bowfin/Grinnel, they have the fight of a bass mixed in with using live/cut bluegill as bait so alot like catfish
@@KrepsyK I’ve only gotten small ones in a little creek. I don’t think they are super common here, do people like them? I’ve also been told they are invasive.
@@Fishman2114 I've seen them in small stock ponds all over my area. I know they're territorial, but I haven't seen many bigger than my hand. I don't know if they're any different than the other kinds of sunfish beyond that. I also haven't gotten around to looking up where they came from or if they're good to eat. I always throw them back.
Well only been once to canada and the walleye are really simular to the zander we got in europe, i love the collors of a walleye and its a really nice fish. Only if the fight was a bit better i would target them all of the time. Zander get way bigger and can put up a fight if they are close to a meter. Thats why i like them better.
Fun list again. You've mentioned a few times that you think brookies fight better than a rainbow or brown. That's just untrue. Brookies jump the entire time. A brown dogs you and a rainbow can dog you and snap your line with a single jump. Advantage - Rainbows and Browns. Brookies are probably my favorite of the three. - Pike Chad

i feel like brown trout are usually tougher than the average brookie, but if you are in the north or in some western lake, yeeaaa the big ones will fight like no other, brookies also arent trout!1!1!

Extremely rude for you to say that perch isnt sport fish, even so perch sometimes not that easy to catch, and big ones provide a good fight if you going to get a big one anyways. Really great species for UL fishing. Do catch and release on those guys for pure and great fun.

Walleye will fight if you let them grow big enough. They’re no bass from a pound for pound standpoint but they get huge in the right conditions
