I loved how you expounded upon Isaiah, and you really brought it to the application of the believer 😊!! God Bless, I will subscribe! What state are you in? I'm in Newport News, Virginia.
Love this video, it covers mostly the vision. When I read the commission( 8-13) in ESV translation, it sounds like God is preventing these people from understanding. Please explain the message he gave Isaiah. Your time is very much appreciated.
Hi Heather, and welcome to the channel. This is a great question and I’ve certainly have had the same thought especially in passages where scripture says God hardened someone’s heart and their ultimate result was disobedience. Like did God just make someone sin????? So, I take this approach, particularly in verse 10 where it says “Make the heart of this people dull” through God’s word lines are drawn between sin & obedience, righteousness & iniquity. Through repetitive disobedience the heart becomes dull to hearing. Without God’s word to identify righteousness how would we know what to call righteous. Without a holy God, how would we know what call unholy. God doesn’t “make” us do anything by removing our own free will, but we are made or identified rather as unrighteous when we disobey the word. This is delicate concept and even in Rom. 9:16 says, “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.” We can’t determine how, when, where God extends grace, that exclusively lies with God. All we can do is choose to obey/disobey and live with the consequences. God left them in their disobedience so His judgements could be clear. God actually judges sin and his judgement IS a reality. As a parent sometimes you have to actually follow through on punishing your children otherwise it seems like you’re just making idle threats. Hope that makes, you can certainly say so if it doesn’t…
What are you saying? I don't know how to spell or define your reference to Isiah 6:41..... You stated a word that puzzles me during the ending lesson: "Christophy is a manifestation of Jesus before he was born". Theopathy? or Christology? Christopholist?

Christophany - an appearance or non-physical manifestation of Christ. And to your point, Theophany is an appearance of God.
