Pendolinos are my favourite long distance train, love a good sprinter on shorter journeys (im not counting hsts because they do short routes). 390s > 800s from my experience, 803/805/810s havent sounded too bad so far though. Found 390s to be fairly smooth, quiet, comfy, good lighting, fast and luggage racks

Absolutely the speed of the trains is amazing and the journey didn't feel like an hour 😁
