You may have chosen the "ECO MODE on GPU" (GPU power saving) option if you are running Asus Armory Crate. It causes the GPU to not be seen in the device manager, which causes this issue. Try using a different mode modes.

For me i fix it by uninstalling nvidia driver (both on Device Manager and control panel), restart pc, and installing downloaded latest nvidia driver. Am running windows 10 pro 2021. Please wen u download driver, make sure its exact model.

sometimes if ur using something like the armory crate or aomething else that can turn ur gpu off, make sure to turn it back on, that also fixes the problem

I am using Nvidia Geforce Rtx 2060 in my Asus Rog strix. I have been using it from last 2 years but from last month, it started giving me hard time. When i run any game on my laptop then screen start tearing and sometimes a pop-up message comes up with Rendering error - video driver error.Sometimes blue screen error also shows up with message of DPC-Watchdog-violation and other too (that I don’t remember).I did everything to fix it like update driver, uninstall device from device manager and last i tried to factory reset my laptop but still its not fixed.
It only happens when i run any game.
I have no idea how to fix it further.
I would really appreciate your help if you or anyone knows how to fix this issue.
