My Westin Sportsman bottom round bar (pipe) rusted through, because there was a pin hole in one of the welds (on top of the pipe) , water got in through the pin hole and stayed in the inside and rusted about 6 inches of the end of the pipe away. I replaced it with a galvanized pipe and some home made brackets. If the pin hole would have been at the bottom it would have been ok. I only found the pin hole when i saw the pipe was rusted through and said, how did that rust through like that, and looked really close and spotted the pin hole in the weld.
Not for me. Not the same, but I have a tow hitch on my Tacoma on the rear which is bolted to the frame. I had a hitch ball attached at the time when someone rear ended me at a really slow speed, like stop and go rush hour traffic. The frame actually bent because of this tap.

Unfortunately that is going to be the nature of this type of grille guard. Because it has protective bars that run in front of each of the headlights you are going to have shadowing. Luckily Westin has included in their design a place on the grille guard where you can add additional lighting. i would like to see more protection in the middle. where i live deer and other wildlife is common to hit. that space in the center is way to big and would allow almost any animal to go throught it

I have a 2020 4Runner Venture Edition with the TSS radar located right in the middle of the grill. Would this interfere with the TSS radar?

Yes. A grille guard pretty much always interferes with any front sensors on a vehicle.
So, basically turn off sensors or more involved to make this work?

This is absolutely useless off-road. The protruding bumper significantly reduces the approach angle.
