personally i think dermapen is one of the best treatments for acne scarring.i visited the clinic over a year ago, and the treatment improved a lot of my boxcar and ice pick scars. although i am skin type 4, i chose not to do lasers because i didn't want to risk of hyperpigmentation which has happened in the past following lasers. if you have darker skin, dermapen should be enough to reduce a lot of acne scarring , plus you dont' need to worry about hyperpigmentation.

Doctor I got chicken pox when I was 12yrs old and now I am 18yrs old and I got three chicken pox pits on my nose 2 pits below my eyes. The pain is equivalent to a sunburn. Its tolerable. I haven't done this but I have used a derma roller.
The pain is definitely more than a sunburn in sensitive areas and far less than a sunburn in less sensitive areas if the needle depth is deep enough for an actual intensive treatment meaning 1.0mm or deeper. If you are getting anything less deep in a clinic then you are wasting your money. They might do slightly less around the eye area or forehead but that's really pushing it.
Does the derma roller work?
@@paigeswan7768 I've used a derma roller I bought online. Worthless to me. I seen zero changes to scaring. The problem is rollers dont go deep enough to stimulate collagen to regrow I've heard

Hey, I thought I'd answer your question too based on my personal experience :)
Today I had my first ever appointment, but just for the laser treatment (and in another country btw, so at a different clinic).
Personally for me; it did hurt quite some bit, it's just really hot. But the pain you feel is less than a second- so it's definitely tolerable!
The areas which hurt me the most were right under my jawline, above my upper lip and on my forehead- but again it's just with the zaps of the laser, which is like 400 milliseconds. After only one treatment, I can say it has definitely made everything look less red and 'infected'(?), so I think it's 100% worth it :)

Hello. I don't mean to offend you or anything but sometimes the reason why we don't get to socialize effectively with people is because we don't have much confidence in ourselves. When we're still in the stage of not being able to accept our "flaws," we tend to blame it on them for the social lack in our lives. All people are flawed whether they have acne scars or not. I even have them myself but I can't say I'm happily married because I'm only 17 😂 but I do hope I'll get there one day. Think it means dark skin. Its not suitable for skin colours 5+ (only works on 1-4)
Majority of Asians have fair and Tanned skin rather than black.
@@tianqi6328 I don't think so and also noone has black skin. Even black people come in a range of shades either way the majority of people on this planet are like an nc45 and below I'd argue most Asian people are pretty dark
