The only real problem with the Bianyo markers is the lack of lighter colours, it seems... That is really sad QwQ

I think there are more peach/light skin tones in the set because copic really is known for their pastel markers. Also, they are based in Japan where they are mostly light colored skin! But hey! Just because they don’t have the darker markers in the set doesn’t mean they don’t exist! I have many browns and tans that are so beautiful for darker skin tones!

I'm glad you gave them another shot! I love my set of these markers. They make a small set of skin tones to go along with this one, there are some repeats but I really like the pinks that came in that one!
When markers are way darker in the second layer of ink than the first, I get around that by laying down the shadows first, and then when I go in with the base layer I blend it out. Also I really like the Bianyo side because of the tones. ☺️
Those caps give me trust issues haha, but otherwise they look like a good alternative to copics!
I think you should try out ShinHan Touch markers! They blend very well and they're my go-to. They're alcohol based and the colors match the cap. *BONUS* some of the caps fit on the other side c; lol. (Also, they have brush nib and bullet nib. The white barrels are the brush tip and the black barrels are the bullet tip)💕💕
And they're refillable

Drawing takes years and I do mean Years of practice to get good , just keep going.
Even super experienced artists with great artwork and a very recognizable art style to their fans still feel like they haven´t found their style yet 😅 so just keep drawing what you enjoy and don´t stress about it!
I picked up drawing again a year ago and I'm 23. I haven't drawn since junior year and never did it on my free time my first drawing was realllllly good and Ive been struggleing since. Try a colored led in your mechanical pencil it improved my sketches alot. I found alot of cheap sketchbooks at berlington and tj maxx (department stores) They are good quality and cost like 4 dollars. Happy drawing
And also once you develope the muscle memory and vision your style just comes out practice different ways to draw things and see what you like

I love the head/hair from the left with the outfit from the right because of the brightness. I feel like the left head is bright while her outfit is dull and then the right has a dull head/hair but a bright outfit. Love your vids!
I honestly like the Bianyo markers more, well, in this comparison at least. The colors seem more relaxed and I prefer that. There seems to be a lack of lighter more pastel colors, though. It looks to be mainly just darker as well as brighter tones. The colors don’t match the caps as mentioned in the video, which is another downside. Other than that, these markers seem pretty similar to copics. I wish I could buy them but I got the Ohuhu markers for Christmas. I really want these because of the brush nib, but oh well.

It’s Miwa yeah, they’re actually really good considering the price! I find them pretty easy to use. A lot of people say they find them hard to blend but I’ve found that they blend easily. There are a few downsides, though. The new sets don’t have names, just color numbers and the numbers come off the markers very easily. Other than that, they’re nice.

I LOVE everything #bianyo ! I have their skin set, their big set, two of their watercolor sets, I forget what else. They are just a great company too. Nice to see someone reviewing them!! I fell in love with them a couple years ago, I design bridal, but I refuse to pay copic prices...I think #bianyo is great!!
Jenna Howell they truly are, I have some copics and the skin tone set of the bianyo. I honestly prefer the feel of the bianyo markers, they feel nicer with the matte plastic and feel heavier. I’m getting the big set soon and I’m super excited, but a little scared because lots of the reviews on Amazon say markers are missing or dry, but we’ll see.
Definitely want to try these out. Have you tried the Blick brush markers? They are about $2 each and everyone says they are a good dupe for copic. Lots of gorgeous colors but I'm loving these bianyo as well!!!

Lena Lazar she should try the the Blick Illustrator Markers it’s 15$ for a 24 set and it has brush tip the only thing is that they have been discontinued that’s why they’re cheap

That's what i said when i clicked on the link. Id rather get the 100 pack of ohuhu . They are cheaper and do the same thing.
Brush markers are always more expensive than bullet markers, it’s just what comes with the territory. You don’t need brush markers, but it’s much easier to blend with.
I think this brand also has bullet and chisel tip for cheaper. The only other brush tip markers at this price range are probaably the 160 master markers for 139? Bianyo and Master are bulk sellers with no open stock options. These are expensive, but for dual tip brush markers, 100 is the lowest out there. Right behind copic is Shinhan brush markers for 200+ for their 72 marker sets. I am one of those ppl who wants copics but just can't stomach 500 for a set. I own Ohuhu and touchnew myself, and I will say that if I do go into brush tip, I will probably buy from bianyo or master. Simply for the affordability. But still. Ain't nothing wrong with chisel tip X)!
She said it was affordable because a lot of people look at Copics that are really expensive. A 72 set of Copics can be about $200 I think. But these markers she shows in the video are high quality and are really good and for the product she thinks that it would be affordable.
The Simpson yeah Ik,I want this set but and Ik they’re very much cheaper than copics but I still find it expensive in the way that it’s $100+

Lol I actually just ordered ohuhu brush markers a couple of days ago and they arrived yesterday. I ordered on amazon and it came with a fine point and brush marker tip. 60 markers for twenty bucks, and they were really from ohuhu. If anyone is thinking about purchasing markers, this is the perfect set for beginners.

these are actually pretty nice. i think it’s worth it to get a cheaper set like this for its darker colors and maybe invest in some copic pastels/lighter colors since copic seems to be the only brand that does light colors well
I have almost all of bianyo markers! I never see anyone have them either! This is definitely a surprise when I got the notification.
My favorite brand is Studio 71. They look like these. They're brush nib on one side, chisel on the other and they're great! Vivid colors and pretty good at blending! Way cheaper than these. It was 30 something dollars for a 48 marker pack.

I know I'm a year late, but I'm pretty sure that crystalizing thing you noticed is a salt deposit that forms when the markers aren't used for a while. It's some sort of reaction in the ink, from what I understand. I think it has something to do with the type of material used for the nibs? It's totally safe and just needs to be cleaned off and the marker should be fine. I saw a review for another brand od markers where the woman thought it might be mold, but it's not. It's just alcohol markers being the weird little special children they are.

I got these when I was looking for copic markers and I personally like them a lot. They work very well. The only problem is that they tend to be darker than what the cap shows so I have to use a scrap piece of paper to test it out first.
PLEASE try the feela dual tip brush markers, they cost 27 dollars for 100 colours and they actually are brish tip and they have a fineliner side
They're not refillable but if you add a few drops of rubbing alcohol it brings it back pretty well :)
I liked the outfit and skin tone on the cheaper markers but I really love the face and hair on the Copic markers!
I love Bianyo markers tbh because they are good quality and cheap. Or at least the ones with out brushnibs are.

you should review master markers!! the 160 set is roughly 87 cents a marker, I think it’s $140 USD? technically they aren’t as cheap as these ones, but from what I’ve seen the colors match better. they have a brush tip and a chisel tip. I’m considering purchasing them myself! I just started watching your videos and I really enjoy them, the time you put into them and your art doesn’t go unnoticed. please keep making vids!! I really enjoy your art :))

Lucid Neema conviently right after I commented this I found another brand of brush markers! AND THEY SELL REFILLS!!! I watched DrawingWiffWaffles review and I think she said they’re about $1.06 or $1.07 USD. I just had to tell ya! they sell a 48 pack for around $80 USD. they also have a few six packs, but the money per marker ratio is different. I was super excited when I found them and really wanted to tell you about them!! the brand is called art-n-fly.

I like the Bianyo colors better they just look more natural and have good saturation but yea they need brighter colors that match their cap

I know that when my copic crystallizes at the tips, I was told to simple wipe it off since occasionally that can happen due to something in the dye itself after an amount of time (had my copies a solid 4, 5ish years now the ones that crystallized)

I use lemouchet skintone markers cuz I draw faces mostly & crayola for the clothes part when I do feel like drawing a full figure charecter which is rare .but its fun to watch other people draw full body charecters

I got the ohuhu for $60 on Amazon; they have the same problem with going over the same stroke twice :( but they're really nice and a cheap comparison to both bianyo and copic. I would of waited though if I knew Ohuhu was releasing brush pens!
They have the same at my local art store(under another brand-name)and there nice n cheap it really nice👌

Hey so getting the digital sketch to the paper...what paper do you use?? And do u just put it through a normal average printer? Would love to know❤❤❤
Tip my art teach taught me use the marker on paper and then cut it small and use clear packing tape to tap it to the cap that way you can see the “true color” as she put it. Even with high end markers they never look like what they will on paper hope this helps
Ye we dont tall about copics none of the caps match until you layer the marker and sometimes it's a slightly different hue ! Haha ( ye I'm lookin at you chrome orange)

Honestly I think the cheaper one is more realist and better. Banjo is more muted like the colors in real life. In real life colors are not as bright unless your in more of a brighter place.
Also the red reason why cpuc has more skin tones is be vfc que of where they are based. Where they are made you see way more lighter skin tones than any other one.
I decide to buy this set, not Copic Markers. Although Copic Markers is more famous than Bianyo, I think Bianyo Markers are also more professional and affordable. If you can get some discount code , It will be excited for me and other fans.
