I just noticed something in this scene I've never really noticed before.... Before the shootout, the little girl playing with her toys on the floor was saying "Bang bang. Bang bang".... I look at it as symbolism of what was going to happen a few moments later with the shootout that occurred. The girl and her family was probably used to hearing shootout go on all the time in their neighborhood. Shootouts are always going to be shocking and surprising for innocent bystanders, but if you grow up in a violent neighborhood, it won't really affect you mentally as much as it would to somebody that's not used to being around shootouts or hasn't even been around one in general. She's saying "Bang bang" casually while she's playing with her toys, but she's probably heard so many shootouts in her young life that it's embedded into her young mind, and usually young kids know about "violence" from cartoons that they've watched and the different sound effects in them, but in this little girl's case, she's more than likely instead indirectly referencing the sound effects to the violence that she's been exposed to and foreshowding the event that's about to happen in a couple minutes. Mannnn, everytime I watch these clips on here, I always seem to notice something new when I actually sit down and watch them with a much more deeper intent....I might be "reaching" with my analysis but that's what I got from this scene

Velocity lol no this is the exact opposite of a “movie/tv thing”. Most movies and tv shows make the shooters look like trained professionals, dropping targets with pinpoint accuracy and not a moments hesitation. Hitting people while on the run with precision. A gang war does not involve trained shooters. It involves kids with pistols who have never had a day of weapons training in their lives. Have you ever went paintballing before? If you did you would see that in matches with beginners it looks like this... sloppy technique, blind firing, little attention to accuracy. Paintballs hurt like a bitch, and when they’re flying at you its easy to be overwhelmed by somebody who is suppressing you. Now imagine how afraid you would be to get hit in a real gunfight. This is a very accurate portrayal of a gang war imo
I never caught this before, the dude blindly shoots three shots around the corner, then right after you see the lady run upstairs and there are three bullet holes in and around the door. I think one of those shots were responsible.

@@capesavage2 I guess yeah. I'd be more concerned with landing the shots though. This is probably a movie/TV only thing right?
Recoil of the firearm of a person with barely any firearm experience
I never caught this before, the dude blindly shoots three shots around the corner, then right after you see the lady run upstairs and there are three bullet holes in and around the door. I think one of those shots were responsible.
I was wondering how did the bullet reach upstairs
Paul Pierce looking dude shot a 3 at 2:22
I never noticed that, he probably mistaked the kid as a shooter also and let a shot at the window
Andre macklin “get that nigga near the window”
I doubt if he meant to shoot the kid lol 9 times out of 10 the kid was looking out the window when they was shooting reason she should’ve ranned in the room & jump over top of him because a kid especially a boy isn’t going listen I’m from Baltimore & this shit happens often
What did buddy with the bat think he was about to do? Everybody got poles and he jump out like he Barry Bonds 🤣🤣🤣
Most of them take overs are through intimidation and when violence are needed most just use melee beatdown thats why corners have bats, knives and shit. but in this case Bodie realizes theyre strapped, he knew it was shootout.
People buying drugs in the morning even before kids have left for school. What has humanity come to.

U obviously don't know about heroin u clown
Rathin Sen that’s the hood for you
This scene is from 2003.. You act like people just started getting high in the morning. Wtf does it matter what time it is maybe this dude worked nights lol junkies will cop at all hours of the day.
Rathin Sen humanity came to the hood to get em some shit, look act like you know something b4 you get got out here B
Funny how Bodie's crew went for the bats at first.

Nigga was so confused
Lol
No disrespect to The Power Universe, Snowfall, but The Wire Is The Greatest TV Show Ever.
This is like Star Wars, where they shoot forever and nothing hits. Hood Style.
Kid got hit
@@michaeldiekmann6494 Yeah, after all those rounds haha
@@khmerbraveheart Well they are from the streets, not trsined. Running around instead of aiming properly. Bullets are small and thats quite a distance those guys are apart. Everyone moving, everyone taking cover.... I can see how it takes time and luck to hit someone.
@@michaeldiekmann6494 Are you really taking my comment serious? Like, it's not a big deal, dude. I don't need you to tell me how a gun battle works. I've been in a War before while you eat snacks watching cartoon. I've been in the fields.
@@khmerbraveheart Yeah, you where in a war because you say so. And I only eat snacks watching cartoons, because you say so. Saw your reply before you edited it. Seems to me you have some sorts of issues when it comes to that matter. Some anger and misplaced defense mechanism. Specially when you are a veteran. It wasn't my intend to trigger something. But you are right, I wouldn't shoot at people unless someone forces me by putting a gun to my neck first commissary style. Want me to thank you for your service? Feel robbed of the appreciation and gratitude you think you deserve? I have a veteran in my social circle. Was under fire and surrounded for hours in Afghanistan. 10.000 rounds fired on that day or something. He doesnt act like you. He got our respect because he isnt going around demanding it. He doesnt bring it up to earn some rep in nothing more than YT comment chat that wasnt even a debate really. And we are all just happy he made it back. How the fuck should I even know you are Animal Mother here knowing it all?
Really out in the street bussin' like they're playing Lazer tag 😂
Must have been a Tuesday. ...
you can actually notice the shot that killed the boy, everytime they shoot and hit glass, they show the glass explode or get destroyed. except for 1 time, and that's the time they hit his window and killed him - the exact time stap im talking about is 2:06 listen and then listen to all the other time they hit glass/windows
Nah, the kid died at 1:57. You can hear him answer his moms and stop mid sentence
At 2:11 WHAT THE FUCK!😂 I LOVE the random background words! This was the BEST PART OF THE WHOLE SERIES!💯 The little kid died because his hard headed ass DIDN'T LISTEN so oh well. You can replace kids you know.💯👍🏻
The way poot shoots the gun is funny ash 😂
