This is one of my favourite folk songs of all times. However, I must say Julie Fowlis is not bad, but Sandy Denny cannot be replaced, it is quite impossible. By the way, the sound quality is bad. It's a pity.

To say Julie Fowlis is 'not bad' has to be the understatement of the century! Comparing her with Sandy is like comparing oranges with apples. Both women are massive talents but completely different🙂
She hasn't quite got Sandy's command of the song but Julie is brilliant in her own right and a perfect deputy for Sandy.
