I'm a RAIDER fan, and as much as I am, I kind of agree with you that there is a difference between intent and being a physical player and this sport is violent enough to intentionally hurt somebody? There is a name for that move, and it is called a CHEAP SHOT and the RAIDERS been paying for what happened in the past and this team has no room for this type of player ! College football seems to still have some passion and desire left in it. It's a bunch of guys trying to make it to the next level so they play hard. By the time they get to the NFL they only play with passion in a contract season because that's all they have left to play for. Why play hard 5 years in a row when you can play one really good year and make millions?

100% agree, but the league is such a joke. If you're going to enforce the rule, this was the 3rd worst hit of the week and the other 2 got off with no suspensions. Can't see the season suspension holding up after they did nothing (no ejection or suspension) to the other guys.

What kind of precedent will it set. If I got caught 5 times and they game me the same punishment as Votaze, I would complain because I would need to get caught at least 5 more times before they can even consider giving that long suspension. The only precedent is a life ban.

Allen didn't give himself up, and was trying to cheat the system to get a few extra yards. The Patriots taught him a lesson. Hard hit, definite penalty, but not on the same level as Burfict.
