    LOVE using this with my students. If I can help them catch the vision of how much this improves their aural, theory, dictation, rhythm, and intonation then the sky's the limit to their potential.

    My music teacher suggested this to me.
    Best suggestion ever at a very fair price.

      Still happy with the software ? I am considering buying this software too. Do you feel you really can apply the skills you learn to real music ?

    Does this program suggest which exercise you have to practice . I like the fact that it has many exercises but as a beginner in eartraining I am a bit afraid that I will be "lost"because of all the possibilities. Has it some virtual assistant who suggests which exercises to practice ?

      Yes, the Beginner's Course of EarMaster does just that. It takes through all the core concepts of ear training, sight-singing and music theory in a smooth, progressive way.

    Does the rhythm trainer work with Midi? If I could plug in my Midi Controller and hit pads or keys that would be more preferable to the other methods mentioned here, since my laptop keyboard isn't what I'm playing as an instrument

      Yes absolutely. You can use a MIDI device, clap your hands into a mic, and hit the space bar or the downward arrow of your computer keyboard. On iOS, you can also tap the screen.

    how do i change the keybinds? musical notation tends to get a bit obnoxious at times because of this, and it would be easier if it worked like musescore, for example ("C" for C, "D" for D, etc., "4" for eight notes, "5" for quarter notes, etc.)

      You can change that in th e"Exercise Options" panel, at the right of the screen. You have several options available: letters, scale degrees, fixed-Do solfege, Relative-Do solfege, and roman numerals)

    How to change language settings?

    • @EarTrainingForMusicians
      @EarTrainingForMusicians  3 роки тому

      On desktop, open the preferences of EarMaster and change the language under "Other options".
      On iOS, EarMaster uses the active language in iOS. If that language is not available in EarMaster, it picks the next language in the list of preferred languages in iOS. If there is no second language specified, it will fall back to English.

    Your website's SSL certificate is not valid, you are going to lose many clients if you don't fix that.
