This is wonderful I wish it was a training video for anyone who works little eyes. I have Fuchs and the letters Jump Around. The techs go to fast. I wish I could have you perform a cornea transplant .
There’s nothing wrong with it, it’s just not as detailed of a refraction as I would like. He’s also relying on the auto refractor which also something I wouldn’t do
What’s it useful for and really the use that it’s adopted over time is to diagnose keratoconus. Though this wasn’t what the machine was initially invented for and frankly it just seems like something someone lazy invented
My office doesn't have an auto refractor. It would be so helpful! Im still learning to refract & I'm getting better but its overwhelming sometimes.
Thank you so much for sharing Dr. Wong! I am a medical student interested in ophthalmology and really appreciated learning this before my electives.
Clearest vision with the least minus, is always the right idea.

Cool technique! Thanks Shannon. Larry
Great video.
I check my refraction at home using my trial lens kit.
Now, 20/20.
Thanks
If you're using the JCC, why not click it to the cyl power as well? You did it for axis but not cylinder power?
Can we get a tech in here?
It is used to refine axis power and not the cyl power
What oct u use ?
Ugh. This is why you should have an OD teach you how to do a proper refraction, and not an MD. A lot if issues here.

Lmao he doesn’t even adjust the cyl. That’s fucking wild
Cope u fake doctor
Excellent training video.
Hello, I have a question, Sir.
Should we still do a binocular balance for this case? Coz both eyes are very different in power.
If we make transpoaition to the eye we can reduce the sphere power from - 3 to -1.50
Interesting.

Very useful ❤❤❤❤
Thanks
you are the best
This contraption is over 150 years old. How did we humans come up with this 😆
-0,75 for 20/25 ???? no one says anything??? swaine basic, that’s too much
See the auto refraction can give you completely different numbers than a manifest refraction. Unreliable machine useless in my opinion

Exactly
Terrible way to do it..do not follow this
Why’s that?
