we always know somewhere in us that these foals are pushed out from the herd for a reason...
and sometimes that reason is a health factor that we just can not catch.
We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all the support and love sent our way for the foal.
know she was lavished with love and support till the moment she passed this morning.
Jordan brought her back up the mountains to where we have our horse hero Rory resting, we know he has the heart in heaven to watch over all our little babies.
until the foals are all growing and thriving each year, we will keep an eye out for any in need of love and support
thankyou everyone, and please know that any money donated is kept in a fund for the next foal that may need us to be there for them
we also need to thank our Vet Clinic - kamloops large animal clinic, everyone at the clinic has been so supportive to our babies that we bring in.

They take a bit of your hearts with them, no matter how short a time they spend in your life. She knew love, care, safety, and the sheer joy of being able to be a sassy baby, instead of starvation or predation. You gave her a great gift, and I thank you for that.

You gave her the best possible chance to overcome her rough start when you brought her home. Those first days are so critical even when the circumstances are ideal. This really hits hard. When I saw the video of her playing a bit and bucking, I really thought she was going to be okay. You can only do so much. Thank you for what you do.

So sorry for the loss of this dear one. You gave her a wonderful loving days and days spent with you and not alone. She had a special few days with LOVE. God Bless you for rescuing her. She is now with our Lord and having a wonderful eternity running in His green pastures.

You both do such a wonderful job with these orphans. Your hard work with these foals is never wasted and without you she would have had a mean and painful end dying out there alone. So my thanks to you both for your hard work and commitment to helping her and all the orphans. While I'm very sorry she passed, I find comfort in knowing she is leaping with joy in Heaven, forever free to be nothing but happy. And that means a chance to see her again. I hope you are surrounded by those who love you and hug you because times like this we need to be loved on. God bless
Thank you so much for sharing, even the sad moments like this. Her few days with you were so much better, so much more comfortable, then she would have had otherwise. You guys gave her peace and kindness, and you fought hard (as you always do) to try to help her every way you could. Sometimes the reality is that it just doesn't work the way we want it to, and that's okay. Because the important part is that you tried, and is what matters the most. Thank you guys for your warm and generous hearts and for loving these horses so much!

I just started watching your channel with the video of you guys rescuing this little filly. I was fascinated to learn that the mares abandon them. I did not know that nor did I know that there are people like you who go to all lengths to rescue them. I had such hopes that she’d make it. I am devastated that she lost her battle for survival & I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m sure in this short time you became attached to her. I know I did. God bless you for all your kindness!!

Awwww, honey! You two tried to save her. You did all you could. She would have died days ago if left alone on the mountain. I’m so sorry! The best you can do for them is to try to save them. And if anyone could save them, you could! Thank you both for trying!
These animals are very lucky to have you two to help. The hardest is when one of the colts doesn't make it but be great full for the ones that do, again thank you for hard work for these horses.

This is very sad truly . . . But, if you weren't there to find and rescue them, they would have had no chance at all. It is compassionate, noble work and God bless you for taking it to task and heart. Many are sad and grieving with you for this little girl. 😥😥

At least she was found and treated with love and care. Doesn't always work out. Her fate otherwise would probably have been a painful one, slowly going or attacked by animals. Even with her very short life, I consider her to have been saved.

Poor little thing, that's very sad. You both know very well that not every rescue story has a happy ending. But at least she had a couple of good days in safety and comfort, which she would certainly not have had if she had remained alone in the wild.
You do AMAZING work when saving these little babies. You always go above and beyond. Some successful, others, not so much. But you do give them your ALL. 💯💗

I never knew how dangerous stallions are to both mares & their newborns.
