One thing that made me like Chief Irons a bit better in the OG is were the first time you meet him is where he tried to seem innocent of the body on his table. Unlike the Remake were he immediately shows that hes a bad guy
That's totally fair. I find him more despicable in the remake (especially with the added bits about the Orphanage experiments) but honestly I really love the "I'm a good guy, promise?" routine he demonstrated when we first met him in the OG
totally understand that. I think the only reason why I had him under Irons is due to how well Irons made us, the players, hate him. Like playing through both the OG and the remake, I actively found myself rooting for the guy to die in the most horrible way possible 😅
Aww thanks! Welcome to Nerd Space! Hopefully I continue to throw out more content your way that you enjoy. In the mean time, there's plenty of Resident Evil and horror related videos on the channel so be sure to check them out. Thanks again!
@fernathebest414, the original RE5 manual says he escaped with the helicopter. Remake shows another helicopter in the background. Outbreak has his voice appear over an intercom at an outpost after raccoon city was gone. And his report was found in RE: Survivor.
Was really looking forward to this particular topic and as ever you delivered.. you a living legend bro. Thanks for the entertaining stuff .. How about best jump scares in the franchise? Can that be doable? Cheers
Glad to see some lesser known names on this list! Alfred is my favorite though. His storylines in Code Veronica and Darkside Chronicles definitely have some darker undertones that aren't displayed in other villains' storylines. He's unique.
Totally respect that opinion tbh. I actually like Alfred a lot and I hope the remake does him justice! Btw dude, while I have you as an Alpha member you gotta let me know what horror game you want me to stream so I can add it in the next poll!
@@NerdSpaceGames I'm hopeful for the remake of Code Veronica too. As for games to add to the poll: Nightmare of Decay, Withering Rooms, Alisha. Not sure if you've streamed those yet.
@@Scout-Fanfiction haven't streamed any of these yet. Do you have a preference of which one you want on the next poll? I've played Withering Rooms btw (got my ass handed to me though lol) but not the other two.
Like I've said before, I really love the creativity with your video ideas (: I predicted who the top 2 were going to be (: And the more I think about Chief Irons, the more I really grasp how awful he was. His voice actors did well with his portrayal as well. Honorable mention...Chris for punching that poor boulder 😂
like it but it will take some time and tbh Silent Hill rankings haven't done as well with my audience so doing something as niche as this might even be more difficult to interest people. But it's not something completely out of the realm of possibilities!
it's easy to forget that humans are just as villainsous as the B.O.W.S because they are usually more recognisable than the human ones and no one deserves the the no.1 spot more that the man who started it all because if it wasn't for spencer, there wouldn't be so many iconic human villains and bows
Spencer is still the worst. He caused so much nightmares. Even in death, they continue his legacy. We meet other villains that are connected to him. Irons is second villain. He was horrible and he also made sure to hide weapons from the police when the zombies came leaving the police defenseless. Even if he did escape, Umbrella was going to kill Irons anyway just to tie up loose ends.
I know Brian Irons is like the scum of the earth, but I think he’s just such a great villain. In a game with 2 other villains, William and Mr. X, he’s the worst of the 3. And Brian to me just gives off Harvey Weinstein vibes, because he not only murdered and covered up for umbrella, he assaulted people (even back in college). One of my headcanons for Brian is that he knew Kathrine Warren more than we assumed, because I feel they are uncle and niece (which creeps me out as a uncle now that I put that out there) and some of the reasons why he’s killed big game animals and other woman, was because he couldn’t have his ultimate prize, his niece as a trophy until the outbreak. I also think it’d make more sense why the mayor would leave his daughter in Brian’s hands.
If I take to consideration only the newest RE titles that were made in RE engine I would put Nicholai as my favourite villain. He was so badass in his cruelty. I especially like the first cutscene with him when he just shoots the guy without asking any questions. He was a better villain imo than main star in this game, Nemesis witch was basically just relegated to few boss fights. I also didn't like that nemy turned into big monster that is one aspect that I dislike about Re games is that villains often turn into big boring giant blob monsters I much more like transformations that leave some human aspects in character something like marguarite, big cheese, krauser, miranda.
Uh yes why we love our money hungry villens. We also love villens that aren't heartless monsters. No not those monsters, i mean villens like Sherry's mom really kinda help different the pool when it comes to villens. Like again i love my money hungry villens but i also like villens that again also have relatable traits. Like families and pets lol.😅
i don't think annite was evil in re2 original. All she cares about is her daughter and husband. If she can save them, she will do this residentevil darkside chronicles showed how she felt about her family and how much she loves them unlike re2re where she is the boss lady, strong women who don't need family and hate them because women power 🙄🙄🙄🙄
In the first resident evil, he was human, but after his suposive "death,"he was reborn with a virus inside of him. Afterwards, he became the superhuman antagonist we well know.
lol literally explained myself with Hunk specifically in the intro of the video. Watch the first 2 minutes of the video and they'll be a part as to why I didn't include Ada Wong, Raymond Vester, and Hunk on this list.
Gotta love how a huge part of Spencer's backstory is basically "So I had this fine trip to Europe"
Lol😂
lmao fair point. It's obviously much more complex than that but yeah, I see what you mean haha

I think Nikolai deserves a spot higher. He is easily one of my favourite antagonists in the Resident Evil franchise

Nikolai wasn’t particularly mean to Jill, he was just mean. Irons on the remake hit Claire, and was mean to Sherry. He was worst.

Nikolai deserved to survive and be an ongoing foil for Jill. He's definitely menacing and devilishly handsome too.
I think he did survive. Unlike nemesis he doesn’t hate Jill though.

@@NerdSpaceGames Yea good idea
With how these guys act it makes me wonder if they really are "human". They still sound "monsterous" with their actions to me.
Why Nicolai is so hot,like damn...he's a villain,i can't think he's sexy
Oh yes you can 😂 I do with Wesker
lol he's got you with that accent!

Nikolai in re3 remake was pretty good villain tbh he deserved his spot
Agreed!
So if Wesker hadn't come back, he, not Irons, would've established the baseline. Or would that have been Spencer either way?
Can we get a "top 10 quick time events"
Love the concept, but execution of this idea would be hard tbh. We’ll see though!
I was shock when I saw Nikolia at #3 & chif Iron at #2, as I thought both would be #2 & 1, then I saw whom at #1 "well ofc 🤦"
lol tbh I totally forgot about Spencer until I started making the list and I was like wait, this dude is the MVP of human villains haha
Spencer is clearly the most important villain on the list. At the same time I find him the least interesting one in the top 4...
I think that’s the fault of Capcom for not allowing him to be front and center in a game
I have a video idea: top 10 blind monsters in horror games
I know Brian Irons is like the scum of the earth, but I think he’s just such a great villain. In a game with 2 other villains, William and Mr. X, he’s the worst of the 3. And Brian to me just gives off Harvey Weinstein vibes, because he not only murdered and covered up for umbrella, he assaulted people (even back in college). I also think it’d make more sense why the mayor would leave his daughter in Brian’s hands.
But he might not even be canon though.
Take Leons run and Irons has never happened.
God if that were true it have made Brian even worse of a person. What a son of a bich
Off-topic: has anyone seen Raymond Vester and Conan O'Brien in the same room? The resemblance is astounding
