So glad to hear it. I think this gameplay reveal has changed a lot of negativity. Not all, of course but I’m so glad I’m not the only one really excited for this game 😊
My take on the demons new looks: the inhabitants of The Fade (Spirits and Demons) are creatures of dreams and nightmares. Why would they be expected to all look the same? Nobody's dreams and nightmares are exactly the same.
I can see why, in game, each demon type has a particular model...but in lore I would expect some variation.
Really the only concern I had was Rook's seemingly automated dialogue in moments where dialogue choices might've fit, but that could've just been because this was edited down so much for the showcase so I'm not overly concerned about that.
Overall, I'm *pumped* about pretty much all of this. The graphics look fantastic and the art style is much more reminiscent of Inquisition than the trailer had me believing. The demon designs especially are so good. Though I will admit, I think I prefer the older Pride Demon design. Something about it being some floaty cloaked being somehow makes it less imposing than it used to be. Those new cloaked demons though? Love 'em. They remind me of the Despair Demons from Inquisition, which were my favorite new additions to the demon roster. With how often these new ones appear, I wonder if they're taking the place of Shades in this game, with how Shades were generally the lower-level demons we faced in Inquisition. Also really wanna see more of those flaming demons running around. My first thought was Rage Demons, but that would be a pretty drastic redesign, so maybe not.
Whoops, that was longer than I expected. Cutting myself off lmao. But yeah, super excited, glad you're excited, with all the negativity I've been seeing, it's nice to stumble upon some optimism towards this game. Fingers crossed it's not too long of a wait!
I actually questioned the floating Pride demon myself and I can totally see how others might not like that design choice. If the others were shades, they looked really good. I have seen too much negativity myself and it has started to make me feel isolated so I'm glad that others are as excited as me. We aren't alone.

@@LadyRav3nGamingOf course! It's also really nice to find someone who's liking all the changes as I have. I also love the updated demons, and the dialogue wheel. I LOVE how Varric looks, I guess him not being red at all is weird? I didn't even think about it though really. I've heard natural red-heads go gray in interesting ways so I wondered if that was why. It also isn't make or break for me. As someone who adores DA2 I was very excited to see the combat. Very epic animations, perfect amount of simplicity and complex for me, who cares about tactics not AT ALL.

I am usually in the minority of: I don't care about 'spoilers' I suppose. What they've decided to reveal is fine for me. It just gives me THAT much more to think about and theorize especially as a book/comic/codex reader and avid banter listener haha. And yknow, what are they NOT saying. Like, what could be so big in those in-between moments they cut compared to what they showed with Solas at the end here? Anyways, very hyped and great fun for me. I'm SO ready for this game. Like, it finally pushed me to buy a new PC like I've been wanting. If it's not able to support DATV I'd be shocked lol
@@isbammoi3358 I can’t afford a new pc and I don’t have the Xbox series X but my disappointment will be with the PC if my specs don’t meet the requirements because I really want to record my first time playing it and put it up for my viewers. It will be the first dragon age game I can do that with. Either way I will find a way to get the game and if I have to buy a new Xbox just to play it then I will but I’m really hoping my pc will be able to play it. Though I’m doubtful because it’s a mid-tier and the graphics alone are making me think the minimum requirements will be out of my league lol
@@LadyRav3nGaming Gosh I know. The weird vagueness is throwing me off a bit. I get keeping some mystery but TOO much is too much. I hope they reveal specs soon. People need time to save any cash and purchase/put stuff together and all that. Good luck 👍

I sense that there is a reason why the Pride demon looks different. I loved the first look. I'm cautiously optimistic. Loved the reaction.
yeah I imagine a lot of people are going to be critical of the pride demon. I personally like the new design but I also understand the concern and criticism over it.
I am Super excited for this game and I hope it comes out soon. I hate waiting. I also think it looks amazing and I romanced Solas in inquisition and I think he looks great in this. I am tired of seeing negative people saying bad things just to say them and am so glad to see others like you are as excited for the game as I am.
Yeah the negativity has been depressing but thankfully I am seeing more and more positive come out about the game and more people are getting excited. I am currently doing a Silas romance run. I romanced him a long time ago once but I barely remember it so I thought I’d try again before the next game comes out 😁
I can't wait to play it as a mage or rogue haven't decided which yet 😊😂

Got a lot of Arkham Knight and Shadow of War vibes from the combat, which I'm in favor of. Love how dodging is not a skill anymore and you can now use bow and daggers as rogue. Wonder how mage will be, if we'll be able to use staff as a weapon in close encounters, like DA2. You were right about it feeling spoilry, I mean, is no one going to mention Bianca? Hope we can repair her and was really worried for Varric for a moment there. Totally picking Warden origin and qunari (If that's possible). Harding is gorgeous and hope she is a real romance, now that she is a companion. Really looking forward to DATV now. November or December lets gooo! Great stuff, Raven!
I love being able to use both daggers and bow again! I’m excited about that and I do wonder about the mage. I loved being able to stab y-stab with my staff in DA2. Yeah as soon as a I saw Bianca go down… she looked great though before that. Got some major upgrades. Harding is romanceable. BioWare confirmed that all companions are romance able including her. I don’t know what faction I’ll choose for my first PT. I’m leaning towards the ones that I am not familiar with though like the shadow dragons or lords of fortune. I am very excited for the game! And it’s great to see you again Buddy! I’m glad you’re excited for this game too! 😊
@@LadyRav3nGaming Very nice! Good idea, to try other origins that's unfamiliar first. Hearing Harding is romanceable got me hyped. It might be her for my first romance or Taash, we will see. BioWare should just focus showing us more gameplay and less story stuff, to stay away from spoilers. They gotta show us mage and warrior and character creator, then that would be enough for me. This is already a buy; we've been waiting 10 years for this lol. And likewise! Been awhile and glad you uploaded this to youTube.
@@thenobuddy662 I agree! so many of us want to see the mage and warrior game play as well as the Character creator. I would be so stoked to see that! My biggest concern right now is that they stated the game is only available for xbox series x/s and PS5. It's on PC too but they have yet to release the required specs for it. I don't own a new xbox or ps5 and can't afford to right now. I also have a mid-tier PC and am worried I won't be able to play. it has me pretty stressed tbh but I'm still excited for this game. I'll figure out the rest as it comes.

I don't like the new demon or darkspawn designs but it's not a deal breaker for me. I just think they look a bit goofy. And the issues I think I have with Solas's look is you see a lot of his top row of teeth when he talks which is why I think he just looks off to me but I'm not hating. I'm super stoked for this game - my only concern is the Evanuris killing Solas right at the beginning of the game

I’m currently streaming dragon age origins with my second canon character and posting here to UA-cam. I’ll be running Dragon Age 2 after that but I won’t be doing a canon run. I simply don’t have the time for it. I do also currently have an immersive let’s play of my second canon in DAI but I won’t be adding my main canon’s to the channel anytime soon. Time simply doesn’t permit it. If I ever do, it won’t be for a few years at least.

I'm kinda eh on it. Dragon Age got me into Dark horror gothic rpgs. This art style, just takes away from it. When I think Dark Rpgs, I think Dragon Age, and Witcher series. I wish the art, reflected on that.
Bioware has stepped away from the DA games being complete dark fantasy games. That started with DA2. However, they do still have dark fantasy elements in them. You may disagree and that's okay. We all relate to these games - and I would venture to say any media we consume - from our own perceptions and perspectives so your criticism is totally valid. I know that a lot of people on both sides of the fence here have dogpiled but I think there is nothing wrong with having the concerns and criticism of the games we love.
