- Hi everyone! Today I am decorating my kitchen for the FIRST TIME SINCE WE MOVED IN! We have only lived in our home for about 2 months and it has been lots and lots of unpacking and organizing for the most part. I am so excited to get to completely makeover my WHOLE KITCHEN! We have future plans of a renovation with paint and all but I am so happy to just decorate it all for now. I hope you enjoy!

Everything looks pretty, dignified & cozy at the same time. You're good at clustering objects together, on the wall & countertops. Tgere's an art to the spacing that's intuitive. Transitioning from late summer to fall will be easy! ❤😊

The one thing I really loved is the curtain in the doorway. I have a craft/junk room off the living room and it hides the “mess” but does not interfere with the light that comes in to my living room. Good video, thanks
Thank you so much! It is actually one of my favorite things as well, my husband is also removing the door for me right now so it won't be in the way, the curtains will be on full view! I love how lace curtains let light in, I also thought about getting some curtain pull backs for each side so when I want to leave them open I can :)

The first wall that you did, you ended up with 6 items. You should have odd number of items, when you can. Believe me, it makes a difference. I think your wall looks great, but maybe you can add that one picture that you almost included or something else in from your thrifted pieces. I think it will balance it out a bit more. I would put it on the right side, around the center point. Just a suggestion. Also, any items that are really light weight, I use straight pins with a ball top, instead of nails. Fewer holes to fill in when I change my mind. I really like the decorative piece above the window and the curtains in the doorway. Also, the arrangement on the countertop looks nice - like you would expect to see those items together like that.
I was actually not happy with that wall but am going to have to thrift some more for pieces that I will like there, I realized while I was decorating that I needed more things! Thank you for the tip! I'll remember that for future projects. I actually use push pins for light stuff and I use nails or screws for heavier things, I just use my little hammer to get the push pins in so that way it doesn't hurt my fingers lol
