The chest is s beautiful piece.. love the different tones of wood. Wow..God knew i needed this today! We are basically in the same situation. We had several ministries going back in Tennessee, a men's recovery home & thrift store. But the men did lots of different jobs in the community. But God is now leading us in a different direction, so we turned both the recovery home & thrift store over to another ministry and moved to Florida. We're staying with our son, his wife & baby for now. My husband has started work, but the ministry we will be working towards starting here will take a little time, just as that i one did when we started it. We'll be going to Tennessee this weekend to put the rest of our things in storage & turn that house back over to the owner.. its complicated lol😄 But I'm just ready to get into our own home..i know it'll take a little time, but I won't lie, its hard not having my own home! I've owned my own home for over 40yrs, different ones but my own. Its tough! I totally enjoy this time with my son since the last 5yrs we haven't had much time with him.. and he has a baby girl that's 10mths old so we're loving that too. So definitely be praying we find that home soon & the ministry will start sooner than later! Enjoyed.. thank you again, i totally needed this today! Leaving Tennessee present won't be easy, i love it there🥹But I'm excited for what's next to come too. Thanks for all the prayers! I'll be praying for you as well! Be no
Thank you so much! My husband actually made that chest when he was in high school, so it is one of my favorite pieces in my home! I store Christmas decorations in it when I have them and then they smell like cedar when I pull everything out 🥰. I will be praying for you on your transition period! I know it can be difficult, but my goodness are we blessed or what to have God on our side? There are no obstacles that can’t be moved when he’s with us! Thank you for the prayers as well! Always love your videos, they give me such a peaceful feeling. 😊 Also, have you ever tried to make either homemade lemonade or watermelon refreshers? I've been eyeing recipes online. I'd love to make both and not buy any drinks with preservatives.
Thank you! He is such an cutie, we love him so much! I have made homemade lemonade many times. I usually do it very basic, I juice a bunch of lemons, add water, and I usually sweeten with honey or stevia. I don’t really use regular sugar much. They even make lemon flavored stevia drops and it is so good! It just depends on what you like. I have never made a watermelon refresher but there is a watermelon slush thing we like to make in the Summer for electrolytes you take some fresh watermelon, a big cup of ice, juice of 1 lemon, coconut water, and a little bit of fresh mint and then blend it up into a slushy consistency, it’s so good and refreshing! You’ll have to let me know if you try it! I might make a UA-cam short about it to share how it’s done 🥰
I love what you said about looking for a house. Because seriously that is the truth! We loved with my MIL for 3 years and then with a friend for a year before we moved in to our home. We only rent, but it's still just ours. God is so good and He will definitely make a way. Also, I have a prayer request. It seems like it's just one thing after another lately with our car. We've had a lot of problems with it and we really don't have a whole ton of money to keep putting into it. So if you could just pray for us financially that we can work to pay off some debts and bills. I would truly appreciate it. 🩷🩷🩷
Me and my husband have lived with others over the years to and I totally get how exciting it is when you finally get your own home! Renting or buying, it is still a place that God calls homemakers to steward well, you are doing a great job! I will for sure pray for you! Me and Tommy only have 1 vehicle so I understand how important it is for your transportation to be “transporting”, our truck is older to. I know God will make a way, he always does!
