You know when Rob is genuinely excited about a podcast, is when he relaxes and sometimes forgets he is moderating his show. Him saying SOB made me laugh. When was the last time he actually swore at his podcast?
Great deeper deep dive. As entertaining as he is and as much as I love to hate him, why is there never any comment or criticism that George is a bully in the game. If an alpha acted like him, he would be called out for it but 'King George' is given a free pass. He can play a big game, he can take risks but he could also play nicely.
The fanwank over George is getting a bit too much tbh - He lost twice, and both times he was kinda dragged to the end by smarter, albeit less entertaining players, that knew they could either take him out at the final vote (Matt, Liz) or outright beat him in the final (Haley). Let's give more credit to players like Liz and Haley; that know how to get to the end and get people to actually vote for them to win.
Well tbf Haley got voted out 😂. But his game definitely has improved since then. The fact George was able to get so far with the huge target oh his back is amazing. Was he carried yes, but his teammates were afraid to make moves against him because they didn’t see a path to the end without him. George was able to get himself that far by making people afraid to vote him off. Is he the greatest ever player? No fans saying that clearly haven’t seen the greats who have won, but he is definitely an amazing player for someone who can’t win challenges.
Nobody lasted more tribals before being voted out than George. He may of tied Sandra record. He was only saved by idol once, the cara twist if j remember right, and the heat was always on him. It was amazing to watch people like flick and simon continually target and vote for him and him survive.
