I was at that show too.. I was near where the cigar landed at that moment.. "mosh pits" but I was watching when he was on the speakers.. I wondered if Billy was going to jump.. "but not for long" … love seeing him beat someone on the head with the mic too lol! It was a different age!

This is everything that is thrash, punk and hardcore. I know there are insane live performances out there with crowds stretching till the horizon and insane mosh pits, but this! This has the core of it: a smaller completely packed venue, the attitude of the band, the guitar stomp, the most epic stage dive of all time, and the whole atmosphere is just something really special. Something unique happened here.

I´ve been to a lot of concerts in my life so far and I´ve seen many bands from different genres of metal, but honestly the biggest mayhem and the craziest crowd ever was when I saw S.O.D. live... Epic!

+crowviking Still have a scar on my bottom lip and above my right eye to remind me of these awesome times. One was from an Exodus show and the other from Slayer lol. Had plenty more but they all healed up pretty well without leaving scars.

Megaforce Records believed that SOD could be the next Metallica at the time and wanted them to go full time with the band , I think it's cooler it was just a joke side band that CRUSHED.
