Anyone else finding that they have to type in "Suicidal Tendencies (Band)" into the search bar now because youtube's algorithm automatically think's you're trying to off yourself?
Yeah, I kept trying to find the band and it was getting to be really stupid and irritating. I tried to contact youtube and sent a message but I doubt they read it. I’m just trying to rock some ST🔥🤘
Ah es verdad! Lo acabo de comprobar gracias a que leí tu comentario!
I thought I was tripping my boy lol
i searched "suicidal tendencies won`t fall in love to day" and youtube called me emo 😭
Lmao
Most underrated guitar player, Rocky George. No one ever mentions him.
i mention him all the tym
Rocky was amazing, you are right, he does not get enough respect
Rocky's a bad ass. Always will be
@Sleazy Skeezy&Greazy yes it was called pap smear
The 1993 concert in Madrid was epic. An underrated guitar player, his solos are unique
Robert Trujillo has been in every band since 1984
lmao
Steve DiGiorgio and Gene Hoglan are also in every band ever.
He has and this band is better than mehtallica

Met Mike before a show in Santa Monica. He was just alone meeting and greeting people in the parking lot like a regular guy.
I saw him in Manchester, England in 95
Brooo.. you're literally everywhere
Fkin Cool🤘
You love metal🤘🍻🍻🍻
Im one from your subs😈
I met Mike and the band in '91, at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. They were really cool and down to earth to talk with, plus they fed us Little Caesar's pizza - LOL!! They all signed my hat and Mike wrote the "Suicidal" logo on the underside of the bill.
They were opening for Queensryche (Empire Tour), but I mostly went because of ST (they should've been headliners back then)!! Anyhow, it was, and still is, the best concert I've been to!! Both bands sounded awesome!!
BTW, love your content/videos, TAOFLEDERMAUS (Jeff)!!!
Same met mike at a show in NY great dude took a pic with him
Rob has an amazing career.
Suicidal Tendencies,
Then Ozzy Osbourne
and then Metallica. How awesome is that?
Don’t forget infectious grooves
Metallica sucks tho.
Played on Jerry Cantrell solo album too I believe. Probably other session stuff too
Boofer T. Washington what do you mean Metallica sucks. There amazing
I agree , new metallica sucks , they became clowns, Testament most underated band , they deserved more money.

Duke Minister he was the coolest in black lebel society
He walks like the baby Kaiju from Pacific Rim.

You wonder why ST has so many words in their lyrics, then you hear Mike giving an interview and he's just spitting words non stop. They guy was born to speak as fast he could, no doubt.
Between my freshman and sophomore year of high school, my older brother killed himself. His name was Brian and while he wasn't a huge ST fan, he did like their stuff.
After his death, I found myself listening to ST a lot. I liked thrash metal and I really liked Join the Army and How Will I Laugh.
My parents, who were good parents, expressed some concern over me listening to a band called "Suicidal Tendencies" considering what had happened to our family, but instead of saying "No", my father sat down and listened to them with me. He hated the music but my father said he liked the lyrics of "How Will I Laugh Tomorrow". I also played, "The Feeling's Back", which is my favorite ST song and while he didn't like it, he appreciated the message. That's good parenting.
My dad is deceased now. (Succumbed to COVID-19 in early 2021) i will always appreciate him for being open minded about the things I was pursuing in my formative teenage years.
I’m sorry for your losses stay strong Bro
Sounds like he was a good dad and a good man.
suicidal was and still is an important part of music and culture. doesn't matter your ethnicity or background. we all can come together, rock out and enjoy life for a brief period in time before main stream media and false government idols tell us to hate each other. ST

War inside my head
War inside my head
War inside my head
War inside my head
War inside my head ain't a pretty sight
But I don't want no sympathy
It's happened a thousand times before
It's just a harsh reality

War inside my head-can you sense it
War inside my head-can you see it
War inside my head-can you feel it
War inside my head
Can you hear the-pain
Can you see the-pain
Can you sense the-pain
Can you feel the-pain
Can you help the-pain
Can you fix the-pain
Can you hear the war inside my head
The only thing real is the way I feel
And that's the pain that's deep inside
The battle from within is gonna begin
And there ain't nowhere to hide
[CHORUS]
War inside my head every night and day
I never get no piece of mind
It ought to be a sin, I just can't win
And pure hell is all I find
¡Muchas gracias! 👌

I actually just listened to "Join the Army" for the first time, today. 40+ years, and never listened to a ST album until today. All I needed was a lousy morning to seek out some music, and Suicidal Tendencies won out! Great stuff, and I am itching to check out more!
Suicidal Tendencies is one of the greatest metal bands ever and the class of its own. When I was 20 this was one of my favourite bands. 25 years later I still love to hear them although my taste for music is much much wider now.
Punk band, not metal.
@@christschool Depends on which albums you are listening. While first two are pure HC punk, How will I Laugh... and Controlled by.. are more metal than HC while Lights, Camera... is pure metal classic. Later they returned to HC and Freedumb is their best HC album, imo. However, I like them in both versions, metal or HC punk. Can't really decide, which I like more.

Kind of disagree, Dave Lombardo adds so much to the band now. Plus this was after Amery Smith left.

A proud moment in my life, a skater at Venice beach skatebowl commenting on my suicidal cap. Experiencing the LA scene was a dream back in the 80’s living in Australia and that day a couple of years ago took me back to those great old days. ST

Suicidal was one of those old school metal bands in the late 80s through mid 90s when that genre was underground. Shows were so energetic, wall to wall moshpit, leave you still thinking about the show days later with moshpit scars, ringing ears, and an ear to ear smile.
