    Can you please do a presentation on the trauma of early maternal separation? For example, adoption (specifically), surrogacy, and incubator babies. Specifically how adoptees suffer this loss/trauma, but then are told to be grateful, have our birth certificates falsified, and told never to search for our family or are met with resistance from our adopters when we search. We are 4x more likely to attempt suicide, become addicts, be victims of sexual assault and murder by adoptive family. The information needs to get out there, but no one listens to adoptees as we are perpetual children in everyone's eyes. Perhaps if more doctors came through to support this data we would get somewhere with adoption reform. Thank you for your consideration and content!

      interesting.. it is really sad what happens to kids who are adopted.. I think more people should help them for sure as far as putting out informational awareness on the subject, maybe you could even make a video about that! Because maybe that subject is a bit out of the field for most UA-cam mental health specialists.. But I am glad you are trying to help that community. I don't know if this is weird but I have always wanted to date a woman who grew up that way, so I could give her all the affection and safety she needs, she would probably appreciate it more than someone who gets showered with love from everyone but is still ungrateful for it.. I just wish I could meet someone like that, or just someone who needs someone super affectionate like me in general xD anyways sorry I got off topic like that lol

    This… is totally my life! Except that I'm not checking if my doors to my apartment are locked all the time, I'm checking that I haven't run out of food! And do I still have more coffee to drink every day? And how many more books do I have to read, etc. I am always, always thinking and doing something to stop me from getting bored and anxious. If I wasn't taking any medication for it I would be like this 24 hours a day, not just some of the day.

    When talking about anxiety reduction and needing to figure out what triggers are and why we have them, what if the trigger is something we can't migrate enough? Like for me, one of my anxiety triggers is noise. Sensory overwhelm. I am also a single mother of a 9,8, and 7 year old. I have tried explaining, leading by example, and many other things to try to help them understand in a way that promotes positive change for me but also them. I know that's kids, and eventually that trigger will come. Is it just learning to cope with it?

    hello I am hypochondriac, whenever I have a symptom, I need to get it checked by a dr as well as multiple tests. Is that considered OCD?

    • @gardens2b7

      Idk I used to have that. I got an anatomy coloring book to learn about how the body systems work. I use it to look up why something might be hurting. I worked on realizing all the things that made me fearful and anxious (for years!!!)and why I was that way.. Ultimately it comes down to the Universe and God WILL send u in the right direction and let you know if something is truly wrong and how to fix it. It won't be ignorable.

      I started making jokes out of the pain: like, "oh. My eyelash hurts, I must have eyelash Cancer." Cause I would completely ignore or go straight to the big C.

      I believe the word “hypochondriac” is no longer being used. It’s now called “Health Anxiety”.

    • @SuperMichelleDJ
      @SuperMichelleDJ 2 роки тому

      What I tend to do in these situations is assess how long I've had a particular health symptom for. If it is something like itching or a body ache or whatever, I figure that if it hasn't gone away after a few days, I get it checked. But if by the next week it is completely gone, then I tell myself that I don't need to go back to the doctor. This is what I do anyway, and I'm hoping this could work for you. I just thought I would present what I hope is helpful information for you. These days it's called health anxiety. I've also had experiences where I've had to see multiple doctors over some health situations but this is only when I feel that I'm not being taken seriously. But if for whatever reason, more than one doctor is saying that everything is okay, then it's highly likely that it will be okay with you. But obviously there is an exception to the rule, which obviously if you aren't satisfied with the answer, then keep going to different doctors until you are satisfied. Otherwise, since most health symptoms go away on their own, maybe everything will be fine.

    John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    This life isn't all there is, hell is very real but Jesus Christ loves you and can save you, can change you and heal you. If you will ask Jesus Christ with a genuine heart to please forgive all your sins, and come into your heart and please save you, he will save you and you will soon know how real he is. God bless.
