Oregon vs Michigan State Preview & Prediction 2024

- The 3-2 (1-1) Michigan State Spartans led by Jonathan Smith take the road to face off against the No.6 4-0 (1-0) Oregon Ducks led by Dan Lanning this Friday night in college football's week 6. In my Oregon vs Michigan State preview and prediction video, I discuss how Michigan State Football has a shot to win if they can get pressure on Gabriel and stifle the Ducks' rushing attack. However, that is a tall task, and I predict that Oregon will win by a score of 38-20, and quickly move on on to prepare for Ohio State Football's visit next week. We talk about all of this and more in this episode of College Football with Sam. MVP-Gabriel
You're worried about Oregon protecting Gabriel? You do realize than since we moved Poncho back to center in the Civil War game that O line has given up zero sacks, yes?
Yeah that comment, “They’re still having trouble protecting Gabriel” suggests someone hasn’t been watching the games or even reading the box score….
I got Oregon 38-0
It’s on Friday.
Sam, buddy, you need to see some Oregon football games. There’s one on Friday night. Fox. 6 pm PST.
This guy is a joke when it comes to breaking down Oregon football he’s clueless
Ducks are definitely preparing for OSU, MSU isn’t bad and Oregon hasn’t been dominating teams, give me the Ducks 31-18. i won’t be shocked to see an absolute blowout though
I agree. Michigan state is better than the score looked last week. Oregon might be taken off guard. Still think they will win though.
Such corny shit. MSU is bad. Give them their flowers they deserve.
@@brettbeaver103 corny? did you learn that word yesterday lol? based off of what are they bad? their loss to Boston College who is about to be ranked by only 4 on the road?
Upset Meter (Salsa Index): Medium
I think Michigan State does have a shot to pull off an upset, but I doubt that will happen here. Unlike Iowa or Michigan (who are limited but at least have the potential to be elite in a few things), Michigan State's roster is limited by injuries and a lack of quality build-up from previous staff. If Michigan State wins, it will be because Oregon is looking ahead to Ohio State and there is a potential mismatch between MSU's DL and Oregon's OL. These Friday games have also been EXTREMELY CLOSE.
The Salsa Index key is mild (not happening), medium (could happen but not likely), hot (the favorite should be scared, but the proper team is favored), and scorchin' (the wrong team is favored and an upset is likely imminent).
@@collegefootballwithsamMSU is going to have a game where they put it all together. They are going to get that game where the running game is such a threat early that the passing game feeds off of it. The defense can keep them in games. I think that game is coming for the Spartans. I just don't see it coming on a short week after playing in Columbus while having to go to one of the loudest stadiums in CFB.
I think that MSU may cover because of a great rushing game. I just can't see the upset... not this week.
Yup and here it is the absolute dumb comment I was looking for 😂😂😂😂😂
Ducks are 6-0 in Friday night games.
Well, they should be 7-0 after this Friday night.
Another synopsis of Oregon by someone unfamiliar with the team. The defense is better this year, and the linebacking core and dl runs deep. The dbs and safeties have played very well. Offense hasnt been as reliable but the deep threat is there and Dylan definitely can throw the deep ball, just hasnt been asked to much. Run game hasn't jelled yet probably the biggest weakness. Oline has played well last few games, but are still a work in progress. They had players out of position due to injuries and it showed first few games.
i was really hoping you werent gonna bring up that red box bowl sam lmao
At the begging u said Saturday but u fixed it later
42-7
Oregon hasn't given up a sack in two games since they figured out center
Charlie pickled is so bad < poncho
DG hasn’t been sacked in 2 games bro you are lost 😂😂😂😂
Oregon 49
Michigan state 14
Ashton guy from Boise is a pain in the ass (I played D).... he'll be making people look dumb on Sunday
Respectfully...Autzen is pronounced aught-sin not out-sin.
I’m pretty sure this guy says something like “MICHIGAN STATE HAS A CHANCE TO WIN THE GAME” or some shit like that cause he has no clue about Oregon football 😂😂😂
And one more thing. Autzen ahh-tzen like automobile, not ow-tzen. It’s an honest mistake. Lots of goofy pronunciations out here.
Game is on Friday
Oregon wins big.
Wow. You don't know as much as you think about football sir. This take is very laughable.
