I wish I was hosting Anubhav in Bangalore! I have enjoyed so many of his shows. I was born in Bangalore (in Malleswaram actually) and spent the first 25 years of my life in Bangalore, my beloved city, it will always be a part of me! Thank you Anubhav for visiting my city and showcasing its delicacies to everyone.
As being born in Kolkata & later staying in Delhi, Food is now in my DNA. For past few months, I have shifted to Bangalore. Till now, for me Bangalore was all about excellent breweries & fine dining restaurants of Koramangala & Lavelle Road (though I found & relished some enchanting dosas in Brigade Road & MG Road area & how can I forget the awesome Mangalorean sea food in Mahesh Lunch Home, Tom's Restaurant & Anupam Coast II Coast and my perception about South Indian Food was changed heavily) but this video explored an arena of Bangalorean food which is quite unknown (I believe) to people who have settled here from other parts of India. I can't thank you enough for showing us this ethereal side of Bangalorean cuisine. Hats off. Awesome work.
Please try food street in Sajjan rao circle (evening) and Avenue road ( after 10 pm). ask any one at these two places, they will tell you location. If you are sensitive to aroma, then your legs will automatically walk to these places. Enjoy

Hey Anubhav I’m sorry to say this, you have choose this lady, we as banglorians are totally disappointed as you have missed many parts of the bengaluru. This lady who doesn’t even know the local language tried to show you some places which many people don’t prefer to go.
One cannot mess with the crispiness of vada by putting even a drop of chutney/sambar over it...the correct way to relish it is mixing vada with sambar/chutney in the mouth and not on the plate....:)
But sir here in Namma uru... When you ask for a dip, they give the vada completely immersed in sambar. And some people( mostly all!!!!!) Prefer to put chutney over the soaked vada and enjoy it! 😊😊 If it's single vada also people usually do the same, dip it in both sambhar and chutny & then have.. 😊.. so the crispyness and the absorbed taste of sambhar & chutney gets infused to the bite sized pieces.. 2 in 1 !
But as South Indian we never allow it to be seperated [Vada, Dosa, Idly, Pongal] unlike roti in a plate & Dhal in katori. We want these items to be in dipped [soaked] in Sambar., :P :P
She is the host. But looks like she is also tasting everything for the first time😂. I watched the Madurai one the first which was very good. This one a bit disappointed with the host.

It is the continuation of Bengaluru breakfast food tour in India. I was able to eat lots of Dosa and Idli. Rice, tomato, green chili, garlic, and various spices were delicious. Finally, coffee came out in the same country in every country. I can not believe it when I only knew curry. It has become like I feel like being in India. Comfortably . And I gradually became used to Indian cuisine. Once in the end, just watching it on video can not do much. You should have thought so. My heart may already be in India. Thank you very much.

Hi ,I m from North-Karnataka(Bijapur), I think u had a lots of fun having different varieties of Dosa, Especially what u ate at last, I,e Holige ,which is a desert of N-karnataka......
Many have complained about the cohost, don't understand when Malleshwaram became less famous for breakfasts. These are classic breakfast hotspots that are completely busy every day.
I am sorry to say still there are many other locations in Bangalore when compared to the places u have covered. I think u cover only malleswaram but there many nice places compared to it
I had visited Vidyarthi Bhavan with family and friends , recently. I had expected so much (after reading in the press and watching videos). Unfortunately our experience was not good. We ordered Benne Masala Dose, Kesari Bath, normal masala dose, idli, vade and the filter coffee.. But none deserved the heap of praise - may be we went on a wrong day (it was a week day morning). And the service, the less said the better. Deeply disappointed and had to swallow the galis from the friends (I had praised this restaurant to the sky before visiting!). Sorry if this hurts, but it was our experience.
Well made video.. though i have a couple of comments (my 2 cents :P) to make, not just about this particular video but, in general. 1. when you select a co-host, please choose someone who is truly a local person who knows the true delicacies of that place. For instance: in this video, it appears that Anamika (if i got that right) is trying most of the dishes for the very first name. Plus she was pronouncing most of the names incorrect. 2. When you are covering big cities such Delhi/Bengaluru/Mumbai etc. it is simply not realistic to cover all the good places. Even in this video you covered restaurants in and around Malleshwaram which is just one part of Bengaluru ( by no means I an intending that it isnt good, I have been in Malleshwaram and i know its Charm), however, there are many other places as well where you get some really authentic karnataka breakfasts. So you might want to suggest which part of the place you will be covering in each video (such as south bengaluru, north bengaluru etc) 3. Another very imp point which i have noticed you mentioning in all the videos of yours. Just by adding loads of ghee/butter doesn't make the dish tastier on its own. It certainly enhances the taste of the dish. However, the dish inherently has to be tasty to further enhance it. So you can't just make a statement that "since it has so much of ghee/butter it is bound to be tasty". That is an incorrect statement. It's like saying just because a dessert has lots of sugar it will be tasty. 4. What i have seen in your videos compared to Trevor's Food Ranger, or Mark Wiens, you tend to cover a lot of places (which is certainly great), but you don't spend enough time in your video in highlighting the food, the way it is prepared/cooked and appreciating the food. Ideally, you would want to tempt your viewers to go and have the food and enjoy it. More expressions will certainly help your cause. Or you can get a couple of co-hosts like how the EatTreat guys are doing. By no means I am implying that your work isn't good, it is great and it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. So a big thanks for bringing these videos to us and keep up the good work :)
She hasn't taken him to Gowdar hotel, Navarang kabab, Chikkapet Biriyani and Pulav next to SSLC Board Malleshwaram. I'm veg but know all these thru friends. Other veg joints are like Bye two coffee at RPC Layout and Bhojanshala
I will say this will be a memorable video. First time 2 places got 10/10 & one got 9.5 & 9/10, in ratings. And also & in food. Loved the concept Belle/ Butter Dosa & Green Idli/ Button Idli. Also loved Khara Bhatta & much more food items in this video. Thank u Anubhav Sir for this video.
That's not actually kesari bhaat. It's called as SHIRA ( made of rawa or semolina, sooji) Actual kesari bhaat is usually prepared in coastal Karnataka+ malnad region Which is special rice(with fragrance),+kesari+ heavy desi ghee+sugar. It's totally different and delicious. Interestingly she(your host) knows a about our food though she is from bengal. Any kannadiga host whos from Bangalore and is familiar with our food would've been better.
Please choose your food bloggers right...they hardly get the names correctly.....khare baath... it is KHARA BHAATH...we being localites get really offended...I think it isn't too much to ask for. When u bloggers and bloggers can get French and Italian names right, y is it so difficult to get Bengaluru names right? Otherwise this is a show we look forward to.

Perfectly said sir ! Totally agree with you!
Well-said .....
U r 100% Correct .
WHOLE WORLD SOUTH INDIAN FOOD IS THE BEST...
Please someone teach them how to pronounce “Dose “
The channel is about food, not language.
Putting a dislike simply for the lady u called as host
I will say this will be a memorable video. First time 2 places got 10/10 & one got 9.5 & 9/10, in ratings. And also & in food. Loved the concept Belle/ Butter Dosa & Green Idli/ Button Idli. Also loved Khara Bhatta & much more food items in this video. Thank u Anubhav Sir for this video.
That's not actually kesari bhaat. It's called as SHIRA ( made of rawa or semolina, sooji)
Actual kesari bhaat is usually prepared in coastal Karnataka+ malnad region
Which is special rice(with fragrance),+kesari+ heavy desi ghee+sugar. It's totally different and delicious.
Interestingly she(your host) knows a about our food though she is from bengal.
Any kannadiga host whos from Bangalore and is familiar with our food would've been better.
But it's called kesaribath in south karnataka
Holige is our traditional Festival sweet in Karnataka 😇 some people are agree, some are......
Don't go seriously
superb, even being such foodie, I didnt knew all the places in Seshadripuram, even though I come there every weekend
It's sambaar...not sambrr!! Cringe!!
Very good concept that u guyz taste... and makes our watery tongue long for it..! Uh?! 😊
Please get some authentic local food bloggers to cohost. Girl in the video has very minimal knowledge and can't even pronounce names right.
Very true
Very true
