Whatever killed that beautiful big spider might be infectious. I hope you washed your hands and sterilized the tool you used to turn her over before going to the next spider enclosure. Congratulations on the thriving babies! They looked so comical when they scurried around trying to escape. The music choice made their antics even funnier.
Yeah, "baby powder? No no never heard about that, lemme use some Chinese stuff without instructions and expiration date. This one won't hurt the tarantula. 150%." Common sense my second name....
thinking the same thing... bit of powder versus random weird chemicals.. uuuuh.. I would say mixing rubbing alcohol + baby powder together (about 1 to 1 parts) and painting the sides with that paste and let it dry. Ant keepers use that a lot to keep ants inside of enclosures. And I guess they wouldn't do that if it wasn't safe? I would assume it would work the same for spiders.
Most chemicals are harmless once in a dried condition unless ingested. But I doubt the spiders will do that. For example, acrylic paint is toxic to fish but can still be used in aquariums since once it is dry, it doesn't harm the fish.
It can be cause of nematodes, it looks like some cases I saw. I would recommend you to contact spidershop.pl, they have expierience with it, it can be dangerous for all your tarantulas. Freeze this Linothele because it can spread to another enclousure and her enclousure should be disinfect.
FYI, if you take powder (baby powder a lot of people use) and mix it with alcohol (if you want it to dry quickly) or water (if you have more time) so that it forms a light, thin paste, you can then brush that on the edges of the container you wish to enclose them in, let it dry and then move your spiders. As the powder dries, it forms a “film” of sorts on the edge surface, which will prevent the, from climbing it. Just thought I would pass that along. Sorry for your loss, Hun. Much love, Shelbie =)❤️💙❤️💙🕷🕸

He usually doesn’t do thing with out making sure they are non toxic to living things just an fyi .
Me too
@Rylee Bieda I came across a momma wolf spider yesterday with all her babies on her abdomen. So amazing that this species does that.
@panfriedd so? Not everything Chinese is instantly bad.
It reminds me of Indiana Jones when they go in the cave and all those tarantulas are on his back. I think that’s what made me be uneasy about spiders
so sorry about your loss petko :( thinking of you during these difficult times. the babies are looking so awesome and cute your such an amazing tarantula dad! keep the videos coming! do you still have your assassin bugs? not seen them for a while.....x
p.s on closer inspection on the video i do see quite a few mites on her some tiny and some medium and then the larger one on her abdomen maybe its nematodes? or just mites? whatever you do becareful not to have it progress to the rest of your collection :( x
What about spending some olive oil or sunflower oil. Should make it really slippery and it's a natural product. Usually use that to lubricate door hinges 😁
Love all your vids made me take up the hobby again many thanks to you ❤️🤟
So sad about the dead spider, she was my favorite from the Dark Den even though she wasn't featured that much. :/
Love your video as always 😊
What you can do to separate the slings is put the tub inside a big cube mesh enclosure
Put the google translate app on your phone and use the photo mode
This helped me out more than once
Awwww the babies are so cute
great stuff, enjoyed, ty.
RIP to Linothele. And NOW THAT’S A LOT OF BABIES!!!
It looks like nometodes check it out bro it may be contagious to all Tarantulas...
There was a weird little white bag that crawled off of her when he moved her
@@_SeanM their is a sprintail you can spot between her leg
It's always best to separate them into individual containers before they get so active and so big
I'm not takim about the "biggest white gugs" mites or springtails" but the liquid that camera out of spiders mouth. They are not visible that easy best to take some of the liquid and drop it in the water and see if there is some longer tiny worms colloquially speaking.
Am really sorry about the Linothele death. But watching you grapple with so many bolty babies was great fun to watch! (Oh and the yellow thing you wiped the tub with is called a 'cloth' in English)
Ok- this MUSIC WAS PERFECT!!!!!! HAHAHA
Another anti grip method you can do that's safe is clear box tape. Usually about 4 or 5 inches wide. Tarantulas can't hang onto it.
At 6:15 you can see a small white thing crawl behind her leg in the top left , could be a spring tail but just thought I’d say just in case
That looked like a springtail to me... but i dunno 🤷🏻♀️
Thanks for the video. You rock!!
