I produce front and rear bumpers, rock sliders. roof mounted expedition baskets, skid plates and more for Vitaras/Grand Vitaras and second gen Trackers so stay tuned for more! Also, check out the website if you haven't already: balmerfab.com/ I'll likely do a video of one of my receiver style front bumpers or the rock sliders as my next Vitara vid. Thanks so much for your views and comments!
I have an '02 Tracker (US) and would like to have a bumper just like this one. Can you build another one without having my vehicle in your shop? Approximately how much would that cost if I had it powdercoated after I received it? Thanks! Great channel!
Thanks very much for your interest in my products as well as for your views! Unfortunately, shipping to the US has proved to be price prohibitive - I've put together the logistics several times and the shipping is always as much as the bumper (at least). I'd love to help you out but, unless you're in Washington and willing to drive up here it's unlikely to work out. Feel free to contact me through my website if you'd like to discuss this further: www.balmerfab.com
Thanks for your comment! I used the four on the bottom because they're the stock tow receiver installation points, meaning they're very strong. The original mounts at the top are not as robust so I welded captive nut plates to the rear crossmember instead and used those as the upper mounts. The bolts pass through the bumper...
really good build but soo much added weight. i would of used alloy for the covers and steel for the super structure, or if your rich 6000 grade alloy for the super structure
Thanks for your comment! This bumper actually weighs only 80lbs without the swingarm or 110lbs with it - surprisingly light for steel tube. This being the case, I think it's reasonable to fabricate it entirely from steel... Alloy would be undeniably lighter but it would push the cost of the bumper high enough that I think it would negatively affect my sales.
Great video again. Congrats on 1k+ subscriptions.
I only saw one ad. Not intrusive at all.
What other things will you do for the Suzuki Grand Vitara

You have used the 4 main tie ins underneath, did you take advantage of the two on top? They are part of the original bumper...

I don't speak Spanish - sorry. Please translate your comment to English and I'll respond appropriately. Thanks :)
