I used a long extension cable and kept my stick in freezer.
I took the case off and install a huge heat sink with thermal paste... working good so far
Can u send that product link pls vro I will buy it pls I am from india pls 😅😅
I opened mine up and drilled small holes into the plastic housing. Picked that idea up from another UA-cam video. Seems to work.
I have never had an issue with over heating, and I still have a 1st gen running.
Link to video please
Very nice video bhai 👍
If this works for overheating why didn't the fire tv stick creators didn't implement this technique?
If they make money off it why change it
If the processor inside runs hot, it won't last as long. If these die after a couple years, then Amazon does not need to worry about continuing to create/test/distribute updates for old hardware designs from say 5 years ago.
Even though on the outside they look alike, a Firestick made in 2021 is not the same hardware as the 2017 model. They require different firmware.
Such lame heatsink design. Wish Amazon made the stick in an aluminium body
Why not make the housing out of aluminum slotted like a heatsink for passive cooling
just stuck 2 m.2 heat sinks on the outside of case with a noiseless fan under it works great about £10 only gets to about 30* if that
Hey, I am getting white line of temperature sign in my fire TV plz help me
mine exploded
Well, that looked really complicated for a 77 yr old woman to do!
Heating problem suggestion
Don't keep backside of tv, if possible take one mtr hdmi cable and connect in ventilation area
OR maybe they are designed properly in the first place?...... lol
Ya, but then you wouldn't be forced to buy a new one every 6 months, thats a bad business model. Everybody knows planned obsolescence is a key design factor in every product made by every major company these days. Long gone are the days of making quality devices to meet peoples needs.
@@leavemealone812 very true, which is why I quit my last job...... I was sick and tired of advising on shite design, only to face a brick wall....
There are decent companies out there, with good design ethos and very profitable, but you need to find them.... lol
I did - deleted apps, cleaned cache, attached to extension hanging in view from side of TV, plugged in usb and regular 110, and unplugged it when not in use. I guess I'll try the drill holes. Damn shame too. Without it, you cannot view all that content you pay Amazon for...hmmm, me thinks a whole lot of flim flam is going on!
