I can't wait to go back Dan. I've been stacking up the overtime to hopefully afford 3 weeks again. I love the caddies. I can just hang around with them all day and laugh. They really are good fun. Then they look after you on the course, attempt to keep you cool, out of the sun or dry. Then they help your score. I always see them as a partner for 4 hours and not an employee. That seems to work best.
Just subbed from the golf sidekick video, you are so lucky to be able to play over there, i feel for those poor caddies having to wear all of those clothes, masks sometimes gloves etc your game is on the money because you almost always make great contact and that helps a LOT! That lot giving you grief is because they are German! Should have mentioned the war. That would get them hissy!
Hi Steve, I am lucky in that I can work a lot of saturday overtime and can go every 2 years. In the 3 months before I go I will have 6 lessons and do a hell of a lot of practice. It's like preparing for the Club Championship on steriods. Then it's a matter of picking the right tee boxes to enjoy the trip! I've seen guys out there playing 6800 yards and their drive goes splat after last nights thunderstorm. That is what I find so impressive about how far Matt hits it. I know that his drive is going splat and it's still 295 out there. Waddabeast

Well played, some lovely golf there, fantastic caddy, cooler weather (well, at least after the rain!) but a great score!!! +3 round there is a great score "Mr Par". My playing partners are somewhat surprised that I giggle every time I pull a hybrid out! I wonder why that may be? I simply tell them that it is because it's a "kotai" and leave the rest to their imagination!!!!

Just cooling off and 2 people come tearing off the 9th green and into my face. I snapped a bit. I've got a video coming up all about spanking the ladyboy. You should get them to watch.

Not many Gary. I've been editing a lot. I think I've got 5 here and I really need to start bashing the keyboard and turning them into a film. But my golf has gone downhill as I've been sat here too much. Such is life!
Nice round Simon! Solid golf with a solid caddie. The course looks amazing. Love how you went for the green over the water, shame you didn't find the ball until after you finished the hole. I bet that rain felt really good but I'm sure it steamed up fast after it stopped. Thanks for explaining your camera to that nice gentleman at the drink shop. I can't imagine leaving the golf course and not knowing what device you had on that tripod. We all know that you must have been holding up the entire course with that thing. Great score out there!!! That was incredible!
The course wasn't too demanding but a lot of fun. The rain was good and it was cool for a while. I got my shirt off and wrung it out. Soon as the sun came out again the humidity was 20 million %, maybe. I couldn't understand those people. I was a hole and half in front of them and when they came in the drink stop 2 of them came up to me and went balistic. I'm not taking that shit. Good score thanks to the caddy, as usual.

When I walked off the 9th green they were strolling down the 8th fairway. I got the caddie and myself a couple of drinks. She topped up my ice bag. I changed the battery on the camera. Had a sit down. Had a chat. Then 2 out of the 3 came straight upto me and in my face. I don't understand people. You would be fine in the heat. Especially with someone to advise you and remind you to look after yourself. I'd look after you.

How would you react to 2 people coming up to you aggressively and berating you for sitting in the drinkstop and trying to cool down? When people overtake one another all the time in the drink stops. Some stop, some bypass. In that heat I gave back what I got.

I'm very happy that the editing is over and I can start doing the stuff I have recorded over here. I've got to say it's people like yourself that keep me going. Thank you.
I didn't. I wanted to get over there as that is where the driving range is. I was hanging on most of the holiday without my usual warm up. You can tell when I got a decent warm in by the scores I got on some courses. Can't wait to go back but flights are so expensive now. Cheers

They are very serious about their golf and usually very slow. Played with an old guy who drove it about 175 one time. Every time the caddies drove their players down the cart path to their balls 50 to 70 yards past him he went nuts. "You will not go past me, stay behind!" Yeah right, that's going to be a 5 hour round right there.

Don't forget the ground is soft and your drive will go splat so play forward a bit. Holiday golf should be fun not penal. Make some good scores. Hope you get THE sunset on Patong beach just to top it off.
@@joshtrunkfield89 Perfect. Phuket CC some of the fairways are native grass, needs a little care. Laguna I found easier from the slightly longer tees. Great course. Red Mountain play with extreme care. Enjoy the 17th, you wont believe it, the camera does not do it justice. Behind the 16th green is a viewpoint so go have a look. Loch Palm is a fun little course but the grass on greens 10, 11, 12 is different and faster. Conisder yourself warned if you get a downhill putt. At Phuket on 10 play a real drive to the fairway then hit a ball you don't mind losing at the green. Take a couple of pick ups out of the rough to have a go. Loser buys the beers. Enjoy!
Oh I don't know, 27? No. 28. It's fun stuff to play off, well maybe not fun. It's difficult. Some people call it cow grass. It's the oldest course on the island and it would have been built with that native grass. It's a shame because it is a great layout and sometimes it just intrudes on your scoring.

Did you play water world the 9 hole at Phuket country club that is a test if you can get round there without losing a ball it's an achievement
