As Christians, it is our responsibility to put all our leaders through the Bible, so to speak. God has told us what a good leader should look like, and Jesus says it very clearly in Matthew 20:25. A good leader is a servant. Donald Trump is an authoritarian dictator. It is his way or no way. That is not a servant of those he represents as God tell us a leader should be. Also, to this "end justifies the means" mentality of the falsely religious and Christian nationals, how can you expect good and godly end-results from a fraudulent rapist who is best known for lying, attempting to cheat on a mass scale, and causing chaos and insurrection? That is not going to happen. Surely, people have more on the ball than that.

I believe TRUMP & who TRUMP says/demonstrates who he is. Trump, alone, provides more than enough reason to not vote for him, & why no one else should-ESPECIALLY a serious, Bible-believing Christian who understands sound theology as opposed to those who invent their own version of Jesus to fit their wants/agendas.
How does a lying, cheating, sexual abuser and fraudster point anyone back to God? There's an honest answer and there's a dishonest answer. All too often, unfortunately, American religious leaders advocate power over honesty. They are not true Christians.

"God doesn't judge a nation by the character of one man; he judges it by the spiritual health of her people." I don't think God judges a nation; he judges individuals. Am I crazy to think that?
You can think that but that might just be the American in you and not the Bible in you… for example in, 2 Chronicles 28:19 it says, in part, “The LORD had humbled Judah because of Ahaz king of Israel. However you came to the conclusion that God only every judges individuals I can say there’s no way you could have honestly read the whole Bible and come away thinking people are ONLY judged by their own individual actions…even practically that wouldn’t make sense…if a whole family depending on the income of a breadwinner who was defrauding people… the breadwinner went to jail for their actions… the rest of the family would suffer not only because their breadwinner was gone now, but also because they’d lose their main source of income. Therefore they suffered because of the actions of someone else
@rjthomas7091 I think your analogy confuses God's judgment with natural consequences. The breadwinner goes to jail is a human consequence, but the family is just collateral damage from that. I don't see that as God judging the family. And yes, God may have blessed and cursed nations in the OT, but it was usually blessing (ok, sometimes cursing) Israel and cursing its enemies. Once Christ entered the picture there's a new covenant and Israel is less relevant.
@@steveneptun7580 a principle of collateral damage still makes that point that your actions can and do impact others even if you don’t intend to and in natural or the spiritual…if you don’t think have suffices you can also remember that the plagues impacted the first born children in egypt, of paragon had let the people go those kids would not have been impacted… God is the same yesterday today and forever so to say the principles about judgement have fundamentally changed since Christ came doesn’t add up

It is the best argument for not voting fot DJTrump. Maroonic pastoral advice. (Trying to call that pastor a moron politely.)
12,252 Palestinian children killed; Palestinian 8,663 children injured since October 7, 2023 (as of February 14, 2024) 🛐🛐🛐
#Jesus said, “Let the little #children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of #heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
@michaelward7051 If Trump were in office the last 4 years, probably 50% or more of the US population would now be dead from COVID - due to: 1) Lovely Trump's thoroughly shameful minimizing its seriousness the first several months (as it was a huge political liability in early 2020), 2) his generally incompetent response for the remainder of 2020, and, 3) his lunatic, deadly, public advocacy of "bleach injections" !
I cannot and will not defend Trump. However, this take is quite biased and in some cases, false.
Perchpole. Is this you admitting you will NOT be voting for Biden?
@@hanssvineklev648 I didn’t know Americans could do irony!
@@Perchpole. I just don’t get why, with a Capitol Building chock full of senators and representatives-on both sides of the aisle-every bit as unethical as Trump, everybody manages to focus on OrangeManBad. I’ve heard about as much on his failings and foibles as I can tolerate. Now, how ‘bout we key in on some of the many other “lying, cheating, sex abusing fraudsters”? (Some of whom would sell our country downstream in a heartbeat.)
As for religious leaders…yeah, left-right, black-white, male-female, Protestant-Catholic…the salvation of pretty much every pastor and theologian in the public eye is suspect.
"God doesn't judge a nation by the character of one man; he judges it by the spiritual health of her people."
I don't think God judges a nation; he judges individuals.
@@steveneptun7580 a principle of collateral damage still makes that point that your actions can and do impact others even if you don’t intend to and in natural or the spiritual…if you don’t think have suffices you can also remember that the plagues impacted the first born children in egypt, of paragon had let the people go those kids would not have been impacted…
God is the same yesterday today and forever so to say the principles about judgement have fundamentally changed since Christ came doesn’t add up
I've been raised in evangelical church but I've never understood Evangelicalism in politics. If you believe that we are in the last days and that the world is only getting darker as we have been taught, then wouldnt any action to make things more godly be against his will and prolonging the inevitable? Why waste any time at all trying to make this a christian nation, instead of winning souls, when Christ is around the corner?
Lacks character and pointing this nation straight ro hell…
OK just editing you don’t have to say “news media”. Everybody knows that news is media it don’t have to say media.
You guys are so evil….
Can’t support Trump or Biden.
Trump 2024
20-24 years in prison
Pointing "us" back to "god" by being the human example of Satan?? Interesting.
"Let us do evil so that good may come of it"
