I love love how this pull kick series is not just about pull kick but starting with all the options, execution & then the approach of when you should actually execute it.. ! You're the best !

I'm going to make a follow up with some other options like a hesitation pull kick option. Anyway, let me know if there is something else you'd like to see.

I've watched many of your tutorials and you are an excellent teacher. I would ask if you might share other nuances that occur when shooting a particular shot. That being weight distribution, grip, placement of feet, and any other energy channeling oddities that might occur to you. We love your ability to share the talent.

Thanks. I like that suggestion and will make a video commenting on stance, grip, etc.

What's more affective? Looking for openings, guessing, anticipating goalie and defensive movement or random shots? I know it's a little bit of everything but give a percentage

I play with short fast open hand and with simple pull shots variation. This option is perfect for me, now i have a third shot in my skill. Spredeman and Collignon use it and that s a very effective shot... Very impressive and very fluent shot to counter the standard defense when u dont master the push and the long shot with open hand for example. I will try that in my next games and for exercice. But i think that s harder to execute on Bonzini. Thx for this video.

The cradling and open-hand shot I can manage, but combining them with a fast pull with good accuracy is proving difficult.
Transitioning from the pull into the open-hand movement feels very awkward; the timing and the attempt to meet the ball and square it.
Perhaps you could touch upon this segment of the move in more detail.

In my country the dinks are not legal you have to score with the guy in the middle

Could you explain the split angle shot you are making with the middle plastic player near the end of the video? The shot looks like some kind of extreme brush shot, although you refer to it as an angle shot. The ball looks like it actually curves into the goal. It would be helpful if you could explain what you are doing to make that shot.

It can also be done effectively with a closed hand grip.

Plz I really want an answer, can you tell me why we have to get close to the ball with the side guy to "pull" it to the middle guy who will hit the ball, why cant we HIT(like a tic but without the tac) the ball with the side guy toward the middle guy who will then shoot it. why we have to be pull with ball already on the side guy ?
I dont know if you see what i mean but plz either way answer me, if you dont get what im saying ill try to say it better
I already ask 10 month ago, so im back at it hopefully you might answer :D

a good opponent will be able to react to you moving before the "tic" and race you. If you start with the man touching the ball at least you have more options like dinks.

Both are effective and work relitively the same way, however with the pull the ball travel along the same path as the pull, where if your man is a little out of align on the tic you will lose the ball. mho

I never saw a racer that could beat a good tic kicker, but my experience was pretty limited back in the day.

If you tic the ball it bounces away from the guy. So to hit it you have to chase it down. If you pull from a stop the guy is with the ball the whole time, so the shot can come at any moment.

When shooting the long on an open hand pull kick, do you find it best to shoot a square shot or a spray?

    • @ClaytonMalott
      @ClaytonMalott 5 років тому

generally speaking spray can be more efficient from back two man
