- This video will show how I loaded Netflix on my NordicTrack treadmill.

I just got the 2450, the only issue I have is it like running blind when watching netflix.. can’t see my stats on the screen. Have you found a work around that ?

Hi mate, thank you for your assistance. Downloaded netflix- app. It is on the dsktop and when i try to launch it. Only snag is it says- the device does not support it?? Has Nordic track become smart and put a block??

I have the 2450 model and I get all the way to launching Netflix and it says the device is not supported by the app. Any advice?
Is it possible to take it back out of privilege mode? (Incase of warranty claim maybe?..)
I have read online that if you follow the same steps that privilege mode turns off. I have not tried this though.
So for me, nothing happens when I tap, and nothing happens when I swipe up. The menu doesn’t show up on the bottom with the circle. Why would this be/what can I do?
Do I need to turn off the treadmill after each use? Will it mess up the downloads? And how do you turn off? With the physical button in the back?
I have a T8.5S, when i’m logged in as privileged user and click on the circle, ifit initial screen displays with a retry message below. Is there any other way to get to the browser or see the installed apps shortcut? Thank you!
I do not know. I only tried on the model that I have.
I have this model! Try the triangle button, to go back or the square button to open tabs. Close ifit and you should be able to get to the homescreen. Then it's basically an android tablet. Just go back into ifit cardio when you're ready to workout. It doesn't let you see you're stats and will go out of your show when you go back and forth but it's a pretty nice option.

eduardo martin vega - I have a second video on this. Loading any app. The android system is 5.1 version. I could only find 6.0 version for Zwift, so it would not install.

eduardo martin vega prob not. Zwift needs at least Android 7. Most of these are running 5.1.1.
will this work to download UA-cam app as well? that would be a gamechanger for me...

Thank you. I do not know how to see that. I know you can adjust speed and inclide, but not see the actual readings. Maybe there is an app for that if you plan to just set a certain speed, then you just keep track of the time and estimate it.

My wifi did not drop. No, you do not need to do this each power up. and no, you can change power and include without iFit.
Do you need to have an account with iFit to be able to use Netflix?
Erica Medina - no. The treadmill will also work without an iFit account.

@@christopheralan7600 just did it. You need to ensure you are in privilege mode first otherwise it keeps on launching the ifit app. go to maintenance screen tap screen 10x wait 7 secs 10x again and repeat until dialogue pops up saying privilege mode is true
Can you still see your exercise stats while Netflix is on (and if not, can you switch back to iFit and see your stats)?
No, you need to switch back and forth to see the stats

I do not know as I do not have this model. The trick is to get into the privileged mode.

I do not understand the question. IFit is a video with Audio, Netflix is a video with Audio. You can’t watch 2 shows on 1 screen at the same time.

From when I researched the NordicTrack treadmills, they run Android apps. The trick was getting the privileged mode unlocked. Then you could see what software it is running.

Thank you. I'm thinking about buying this treadmill, don't plan on using their workouts so this helps. I'm guessing this allows me to do anything I can do on a normal android device? Surf, run most apps etc.
You can get on websites, there is no App Store so you need to find the App files to load. There is hard drive space to load apps.
I just loaded another video that shows the storage space and installing and uninstalling candy crush - should give more details for you.
Can I load a simple ManualWorkOut mode as an app, just cause I most times dont have internet or Wifi near machine? Is there such app?
Yes, you can do some programs without internet

What is the model of your treadmill? You should also watch my other video on loading any app on the treadmill, it goes into more detail on app version compared to the treadmill operating system version.
I had the same problem. The version of netflix I installed is out of date. I found a reddit thread on how to install it from apkmirror

Check the version of the app and if it is compatible with the version of the android system. I have another video that goes into more detail. It’s title is loading any app on the treadmill.

I’ve seen it! Thanks! But just to complement your video, I couldn’t activate privileged mode with your method. At the end I searched for it, and the method was: 10 taps, wait ten seconds and then another 10 taps. I’m not going to load any app by the way. I just wanted to be able to use Browser to watch some video courses. Thanks again!!!!
Anyway to know how much memory this device has? Also, are you able to download and run Zwift?
I think the memory size is in another video of mine on loading any app on the treadmill, but not all apps will work based on version on android system vs version of app.

I have a different video on my channel about how to load just about any app on the treadmill. It is based on the version of the app and the version of the operating system.
@@lifeineurope9234 I have a new ProForm smart pro 9000 and watched the other video but could never get Hulu or Disney+ working. Plex/Netflix/Amazon Prime are all working. Have you found a working version for Hulu or Disney+?
@@chesschilla I researched Disney plus and it was a complicated process involving a jail break program and 3 file load. Since I had Netflix and UA-cam, I did not want to spend the additional time.
Mine said privilege mode to true. I'm not getting the three icons when I swipe up though. Help 😑

I have app version 2.6.22.1247, admin version 1.4.0.19 and firmware version 5.1.1 eng.xmlnb.20191112.2144913. I found these under settings, equipment info, app info. Our firmware versions are way different, even different format.
@@lifeineurope9234 I have app version 2.6.22.1247 admin version 1.4.0.196 firmware 7.1.2 20190521 brainboard version 83.194 if that helps. I get it to privileged mode true. I can't swipe up or down to reveal the buttons. Only time i get privileged mode it's when I unplug and plug, but it goes back to normal.
Ruben Terrazas unfortunately we are on different versions. If you are able to figure it our, you may be in better place. Appears your machine is running Android 7.1 which allows for more apps. Mine is on 5.1. I will try to research online, but will not be able to test anything for you.
