Stop Your VW Bug Faster with a Disc Brake Conversion - ep14 Autodynamics Deserter GT Dune Buggy

The rebuild of the Autodynamics / Dearborn Deserter GT VW dune buggy continues. In this video we install a disc brake conversion kit upgrade made by AC Industries (no affiliation, I paid full price). This particular kit is for link pin front ends and gives you a choice of GM or Ford/Mopar lug patterns, but the installation process would be mostly the same for ball joint front ends or standard VW bolt patterns.

That’s the first thing in did when I bought my
1964 vw bug a lot better stopping power with disc brakes.

I did a conversion on a LHDrive Beetle to RH Drive that had cable brakes instead of hydraulics, what a challenge that was but it worked !! Good luck with project from the U/K.
