Truth be told, NBA doesn't shoot as well today as it did in 1980s and early 1990s when defensive play was at an apex. But right now, Harden is the best 1 on 1 player period. My only issue (big one) with him is that he can stop movement.

He said James Harden made Houston a contender since Hakeem and clutch city. I know Perkins didn't just disrespect one of the greatest Rockets of all time, my man T MAC.
They weren't really a contender with Tmac though. They were a 5th seed every year and got beat in the first round for one reason or another. The only time they made it into the 2nd round and had a legit chance at going to the WCF was when TMac didn't play and Yao got hurt halfway through the series. That was in the 2009 playoffs.
