Hugo always does the best walkthrough tours and never let's his bias show on whether he likes something or not. True impartial reporting and statement of facts as opposed to someone gushing over this and that. I love Galeon and would be hard pressed to control my excitement
10:30 Changing your shutter speed will help. Getting rid of flicker completely can be tricky when you have different light sources flickering at different speeds. Sometimes, you just have to fix the worst offender but will have other lights flickering in the background. Great job for trying! Edit: 11:42 just noticed you did just that, excellent!
Love the Galeon boats, they are so clever with their space. I do feel like the odd shapes of the beds and rooms spoil the look a little but I can see what they are trying to do!
Absolutely stunning boat, will have to take a closer look at this one come spring. Sounds exactly what a childfree couple could use every summer in Croatia. Great tour, Hugo, thanks!
Brilliant presentation Hugo as always , I normally love Galeon boats , but felt like this version was just thrown together inside wasn't as nice and the bedrooms looked so mashed together to fit 3 into the boat , thank you thou for showing us Hugo 👍👍
Same here. I'm a big fan of Galeon but this is the second 'new' model that I've seen where I've preferred the older model. I looked at a 460 fly and there are several features that I much prefer e.g. the aft galley which gives you the bar stool option for the drop balconies and seating on the other side. I prefer the old 460's bow seating arrangement with the table and movable seats, also the fly bridge arrangement with the forward facing sunpads at the front. I know it's not the same boat but it looks a lot more plush and comfortable. (If you've not seen it check out aquaholics tour of the 460 (although the 500 fly is my fav of the lot).
Galeón just doing Galeón things. Those reversible seat backs are a great idea, but they’re not new. I saw a similar arrangement on a video about the SS Great Britain. There is very little new under the sun.
What a great walk through. Thank you so much for bringing this to us. A lower helm station hatch combined with optional v-drive really makes this a wonderful yacht.
That Galeon is absolutely awesome, love the layout throughout. Only thing I would change is the bunk room, I think it’s be better as a secondary living area. Great tour!
Very nice presentation, indeed. The boat? Hmmm... I cannot represent myself showing any of the cabins to a pair of friends and tell them "you both sleep here", they would laugh at me.
Galeon is one of the most innovative boats on the market.. I call it the swiss army knife of boats..It has more tricks up its sleeve than David Copperfield 😉
I'm a huge fan of Galeon's boats....they are very innovative, small enough to be go most anywhere (except trans Atlantic, ofc), large enough to live aboard, cheap enough that you don't have to be a billionaire to own one, and just cool to look at. To me, the Galeon 640 is the sweet spot of small, owner operatable yachts.
3:50 My cynical engineering eye sees that flip-top table being unintentionally broken on the first charter. BUT other than that, that is a space efficiency engineering marvel. The shape of the beds, the fact that there is somehow 3 solid cabins in a 44 foot boat + all that entertainment space is incredible.
Galeon is living in 2060.... I love the way these boats are put together. Any other recommendations on boats with new and innovative designs? The Riviera Open 39 Fly is great too!
My only complaint is that a boat this grand shouldn't have a front head where the shower takes place over the toilet. That's for much smaller boats. Get rid of the bathroom vanity cabinet and move the toilet to the right. Install a small wall mounted sink over the toilet, and a wall mounted cabinet over it.
Lots of boat for the money in for me the ideal size. Shame that engine access is compromised by not having salon floor openings and I would hope there is a hard top option, but very little to not like
Amazing what they have managed to squeeze into a 44’. That main cabin is a bit disappointing though. Really lacks the wow factor that the rest of the boat has in spades. And someone really (really!) should have made that bed before letting a prominent UA-camr onboard… 😅
what a terrible interior layout/ergonomics. You cannot be real to say that the master cabin has plenty of room to stand etc. Be honest instead of BS-ing people with only positive comments. Perhaps nice if you are only 1.60m tall. Outsides are nice though.

The boat with everything, seems like a great value and fit for almost every occasion!

Would work a treat in Croatia!
Visited her in Duesseldorf as well. Amazing what they have packed into 44 feet. The teak faced design makes a different
Love

Does feel a bit cramped with three cabins but it is only 45ft so hardly surprising
@@hugoandreae3785 very true Hugo, ty for the great presentation 👍

Seriously impressive boat 👍❤️🇬🇧

Amazing boat.

Thanks Robert, I enjoyed making it too
Lovely boat Hugo thanks for all the information

Glad you enjoyed it
marvelous boat
Great value, BUT!!!..if they just could've found a way to have the rear rotating dining set it would just be about perfect
Yay. Hugo tour!!
this 440 is the best for doing the loop in style!
I wonder if anyone has done it yet in this boat
Very impressive ! Thank you !
My pleasure
I love the Galeon yachuts as they are good in design. The company may make versions for the Indian middle class people!
Thank you!
Very nice presentation, indeed. The boat? Hmmm... I cannot represent myself showing any of the cabins to a pair of friends and tell them "you both sleep here", they would laugh at me.
Such a perfect boat I'd scratch the 3rd bedroom and make it laundry n storage
Galeon is one of the most innovative boats on the market.. I call it the swiss army knife of boats..It has more tricks up its sleeve than David Copperfield 😉
By Galeon standards, this one seems a bit cramped and compromised. Perhaps the two-cabin layout would be better.
The VIP on the 500 struck me as cramped. Smaller than it looks on video.
I tend to agree re two cabin layout
Yes, the accommodation was a great disappointment after seeing the rest of the boat. Those fender holders would have to go too!

I can’t afford it, but the folding balcony strikes me as a cool idea…. Especially adding floor space as that is always at a premium on boats…
Galeon boats are great.....

It looks pretty similar to the Okean Yachts it would be nice if the fly had cover.
Is air condition a chiller and how many BTU !
Another informative tour Hugo.
Thanks John

I don't think I would spend my money on one of those Galeons...

Much prefer the position of the galley being next to the helm than aft.
I’m a huge Galeon fan… but this one just doesn’t seem to make any sense in its overall layout, especially below deck. Not feeling it.
Great tour of a not so great boat
Those folding doors over the stairs on flybridges, is that a safety thing to stop people falling down.
It's to batten down the cockpit when you rig the shrouds all around
excellent report as always. What was the b.show price as shown ?
Guess this Boat is the main comparison to the BRAZILIAN 45 fly🤔 more utility for sure
what's the range on this one
Galley below deck option would have been better , especially for smaller size boats.
Yep agreed, look at the princess v50, ok more expensive but much better quality and could buy one a couple of years old for the same price
nice,,,, 1:27 foot burners lol
Lots of boat for the money in for me the ideal size. Shame that engine access is compromised by not having salon floor openings and I would hope there is a hard top option, but very little to not like
cost?
nice boat, but it tries too hard to do everything and ends up doing nothing well. Also, why so much seating? It's not a bus!
You obviously don't have any friends
My thoughts exactly…seating for 14 when 99% of the time 2 people
Don’t buy one then. That will show them! 😂😂😂
This boat is great!
I love the seating! If you do any type of entertaining, you'd know seating is key.
Amazing what they have managed to squeeze into a 44’. That main cabin is a bit disappointing though. Really lacks the wow factor that the rest of the boat has in spades. And someone really (really!) should have made that bed before letting a prominent UA-camr onboard… 😅
Big shows like this are always a bit of a bunfight so can’t really blame them for not making the bed every five minutes
Nice yacht, but that fabric/upholstery is dreadful! It looks cheap.
Better one is galeon 400,cheaper and better space organized.

Nah😳🤔😵🤣🤣🤣
Rip off.
