You can purchase all the clamps, and fittings separately on T.T.T , the nice clamp is around $19 vs $8 for the large aluminum clamp. The fittings are high rent 🤑

I don't understand why the 1 hose kit is a buck and a half, but the 2 hose kit is 6 bills, 9 bills with gauge! I wonder if buying 2 kits and a waterproof case for $60 bucks would be sufficient? Especially if one could order the better clamps singularly from trublu? That would be a cost-effective option for sure....
Thank you I appreciate your compliment! I priced the XL kit individually and it came out that you were getting the valve core tool for free. Myself personally I would buy 2 XL kits, (that's what I probably will end up doing). When you start pricing the fittings individually, you'll see where the money comes in at. The newest bluvac gauge is $350 I believe. The case that comes with the big kit I do not think is a Pelican case? It looks a lot like the one from Harbor Freight but I could be wrong? I reached out to Accutools owner on Facebook, but got no response in regards to getting one of their products to review. Oh well, I guess Im not popular enough?
This makes me want to pick up one of those blue hoses. Currently using an APPION 3/8"x1/4" hose for the suction side and a dedicated 1/4" Yellowjacket hose with the core depressors removed for the liquid side (primarily on residential).
It speeds it up big time, specially if your doing a repair where refrigerant is trapped in the oil. As I mentioned, I was using two 3/8" hoses and thought that was fast. 👍🏻👍🏻

C&D. I have 2 of them. I also ordered 4 rebuild kits for them at Johnstone. they had directions and everything, seemed like they were from another country but how did you rebuild yours. Some of them were hard to get to like the c&D has double gasketed at that female port
You definitely need to have a pick, and some major patients. I haven't fully rebuilt C&D yet, just the two o rings at the female. I have rebuilt the Appion, that was a real treat. 😏
I was always wondering, I guess I got it, but if you answer it by writing it will make me understand much easier🙏🙏. In our country, we give vacuum and gas with the gas hoses on the manometer. Since I watched HVAC videos in your country, one of the most striking differences is those thick blue vacuum hoses! It makes vacuuming faster and easier and provides convenience with variable nozzles. Did I get it right?🤔
You can use a regular manifold gauge set but it takes a lot longer and generally you never pull down a very deep vacuum. I do it to speed things up so I can do the job right, yet still not spend all day there. Not many people I work with use anything like this.

But they never taught us this, even in the training of major brands in your own country, they explained vacuum and gas charging with the standard manifold and hoses on it. What I see when I call out for curiosity definitely makes me more knowledgeable and the right thing. However, these vacuum systems are "Hose" in our country. Of course there is no supply but they require a lot of cost. No I keep in mind that there may be words that are improperly translated or may not match up to the dialect or slang words that we might use. I understand we're kind of spoiled around here or should I say fortunate, those hoses are very expensive but I work a lot of overtime and don't spend a lot of money on dumb things so I have extra money to spend on it. Plus it makes for a good video. Don't worry if you don't have the fancy big hoses, as long as you're pulling a good vacuum and possibly checking it with a micron gauge you will be fine. Even if you don't use a micron gauge and you pull a good deep vacuum for at least 30 to 60 minutes you should be fine as long as there's no leaks and you don't have moisture in the system. I didn't get larger hoses till a few years ago so for at least 20 years I didn't have them either. Thanks for contacting me 👍👍 what country are you watching me in?

They are cool, I just used them on a 2.5 ton Mitsubishi mini split that had a leak on the evaporator. I recovered the whole system and replace the evaporator, then I evacuated the complete system including the compressor and accumulator, it's still did it much faster than anything else that I would have used but it does take a little longer then just pulling on a recovery tank. Unfortunately I'm unable to video at work now so was not able to show it.
It is accurate, but because there is no leak rate and the resolution doesn't show small increments, it doesn't show the smal details well enough for me, this makes it harder to determine if it's a leak or moisture causing the rise in pressure while doing a block off vacuum test.
The Appion VCRT has been an disappointment for me also. They don’t stay vacuum rated for very long and leak. Some one else told me that rebuilding them does not help.
I needed a system to do it on. I Can't video at work, so I'll have to talk about my results soon as I get a chance to use them in that scenario. The recovery tank has the volume of 47.7lbs, so if my calculations are correct it should take about a few minutes to pull down below 500m on a typical residential system. Time will tell👍🏻👍🏻
That's a term that appion came up with to make themselves look different. Like I mentioned in the video, stoelting is making $25,000 ice cream machines and that's what they're using to pull down their machines and do their testing. Plus they're made right here in America I'm not sure the appion is. But I can tell you they do hold.

1/2” appion run as fast as my blue smurf . But easier to connect I hate the clamps . If they didn’t have such bulky clamps it would be better. Appion 1/2” mega flow ❤️❤️
I don't like the clamps and I don't like how stiff they get in the winter. For a chunk of change you can get the smaller stainless steel clamps but I can't justify it. Far as the speed difference, it's probably close but definitely is not the same. Eventually there becomes a time where it's just splitting hairs to see the difference.

I also keep my appion with its supplied holder that keeps the hose sealed . Tru blu is Meh for the price they want id actually use a slower hose just to not have to deal with the clamp setup .

Everything I own that said CPS on it took a crap it was buggy are finicky intermittent off into minute on Numbers jumping around where there was a scale or hoses a µm gauge I’d have to be desperate dying and starving on a desert island before I buy another CPS product

I've been using an Appion Megaflow for a while. It's been a huge improvement over using gauges, but I've given thought to the TruBlu.
I had the 3/8 appion and the speed difference was huge compared to the blue hoses. unless you have the half-inch ones

Bought them one they first came out and man let me tell what, LOVE THEM MY NEW WIFE, SMURF BONNER...

What do you think about your CPS vacuum gauge, I don't care for the fact it shut off a lot during vacuum does blue evac do that?

Lucky you to have Trublu , my brand new Navac 1/2 vacuum hose takes 10 min to get to around 180 microns. Their 20 micron rating is a joke

Appion pumps are made in Taiwan so it’s a safe bet everything else they produce is to.

I haven't used that gauge for a long time, CPS is hit or miss, I have their weight scale and it does okay but at first it wasn't.
