I"m 70 and a few years ago I bought a PS2800 / TU20 DC TIG complete with torch and OE kart having never heard of Kemppi. The unit seemed very high quality. Then I learned about Kemppi and just recently learned from a fell that I sold the kart to (shop layout can't have "broadside" box orientation) that the turbo machinery company Elliott Co. in Jeannette, PA used Kemppi welders. I was also impressed that while 3 phase, they can be run single phase since the very first stage is rectification. I have not fired up this rig and hope to do so ASAP. I still am shocked that there is no Kemppi presence to speak of in the USA until just recently. Obviously Elliott knew and evidently industry, but the small shop market was oblivious. Big fan!
