I have been shanti toya in Nov/2022. I paid US$75 per night for a single room. The yoga shala is so small.
The pillow case has mold, room was dirty. However there is aircon in the room which was nice.
I think Suan sati in Chiang Mai is better.

Masyarakat Bali sangat menjaga alamnya. Mereka tidak begitu suka dengan kemegahan. Bahkan kalau mereka mengizinkan pembanagunan yang jauh lebih pesat dan mewah, tidak akan ada destinasi di dunia ini yang bisa menandinginya. Di sana tidak boleh ada bangunan yang letaknya lebih tinggi daripada PURA, karena bangunan PURA sangat dihormati. Hanya sebagian sedikit saja yang diperbolehkan untuk dibangun lebih megah, mereka sangat menjaga dan menyayangi alamnya.

Is it weird for a solo male traveler to go to a Yoga retreat or are they all females?
Not at all, I indeed met a very nice male friend at this retreat. I must admit that I met more females at this retreat but I really don’t understand why. Men should equally practice and prioritize self care as women do. Highly encourage you to do so. 🫶🏼

It was teriyaki sauce, not oyster sauce
