Which fashion trend are you glad to see fade away from popularity? Mine is the cold-shoulder and prints in general I try to stay away from as they are a quick giveaway of the season they were bought.
Cold shoulder and prints went out in 2022....Pleated skirts are out. Ankle boots worn with short dresses are out. Skinny jeans are coming back and low rider pants are out.
So glad to see cold shoulder go. Take the torn ripped jeans with you
High waist wide leg and mom jeans are a wardrobe staple. Even my husband ditched his 501 with butt-crack for high rise. Proper bottom-fit is quintessential.

While we need to adopt only trends that fit our own personal style and meet our guidelines, such as functionality and comfort, these trends in the video are more about the ever-changing latest and newest popularity wave from the runways, adopted by the masses. I disagree with you about the high waist, women were not interested in the low rider jean style and they quickly faded and bombed out. High waist/mom jeans are the preferred choice. Joggers are still going strong, Teddy coats and puffers are still in as well. Tailored and casual classic styles are still in.

I agree! High rise are much more flattering. The runway shows keep changing them up so we don't get bored of seeing the same things, but you should always wear what looks flattering on you, regardless of what the masses choose to be popular. Enjoy your day!

Its always interesting to see how the designers are changing silhouettes and “fit”. I think what most people don’t consider is these trends are forward trends, what we will see more of as we move thru the year. Yes there are still lots of puffers, fluffy coats, high waisted jeans etc everywhere we go, including places like London, Paris, New York etc and that’s because people are still wearing what they have in their closets and they’re wearing things they love- regardless of forward trends telling them otherwise.
I think people who really know their preferences and know what looks good on them will always wear what they feel good in, and as you’ve said many times, that’s what’s most important 😊

I find it interesting as well to see where the shift is heading towards as designers and brands pick and choose what to focus on and how to modify clothes to be different yet wearable and popular. Because at the end of the day if you design something unwearable and unlikable, no one will buy it.
In terms of our personal style, it doesn't really change for most of us. We add pieces here and there that hopefully go with the rest of our wardrobe, but we have the same core preferences we gravitate towards regardless of trends.

Hi! Not everything is out, just last year's trends 😅. Time for something new every season. We also don't need to conform to the latest and greatest. It's not practical or affordable. Keep wearing what brings you joy!
