Great review. Currently have the instax 11 but been wanting something with bluetooth. Stuck between instax mini evo vs Polaroid OneStep+ i‑Type Instant Camera vs Polaroid Now+ i‑Type Instant camera, not sure where to head. Which has the better picture quality, etc?
Those cameras have two very different applications. I think the biggest consideration would be cost. The I type cost per photo is around $2 each, whereas the mini retails for about $.80-1.00 depending on how much you buy at once. I primarily shoot 600 film on an older polaroid because those are just the better quality pictures imo, but i picked up a mini evo because its much more versatile. I take it with me everywhere because its compact, i dont mind just shooting because the film is cheap, and i can shoot at night, with my friends, etc.
Hey Maria, thanks for your comment. Print frames are preset surrounds that can be added to you prints. Not a big feature for me but some people like to add them. Hope this helps and have a great weekend
Obviously Evo would be better but I'm not sure if it'd be 2x the price better in terms of print quality of pics taken from a phone and instax app is surprisingly good.

Great presentation. For me it's simple, the Evo looks like a camera, the liplay looks like an accessory your missus would carry in her handbag...😆✌️...just saying...
Does anyone who own evo know if the photo comes out super clear and has a “crisp” effect, because I want the photos to look not too crisp and look kinda vintage. Thanks!
Hey Max! It depends on what settings you use. If you use rich mode they will be crisp. But there are other filters on the mini Evo that can create different looks :)

In my country Mini Evo's price is triples the Liplay.. So.. I am forced to like that vintage style look of Liplay.. And i dont complain about it.

If you want to print any photo you can just do it to use app for your smartphone.

The one thing that sucks is that in mini evo they didn't include voice recorder

the pics are saved in the SD card. you transfer them from the SD just as other types of cameras
Saved in sd / you will get the photo ., as well from the camera can be sent to phone with the instax frame

What’s the max sd card capacity the mini evo can hold?
It doesn't seem to have any limit. However, it can shoot approximately 850 images per 1GB, thus 16GB or less should be plenty.
