Sig Sauer P365 CO2 BB Gun : How To Avoid Double Feeding and BB Jams.

  • Here is how the internal mechanical functions work on the CO2 P365. Please pay attention as this replica airgun does not function in the same manner a real P365 works.
    I hope this helps clear up any confusion about inconsistencies, double feeding, jammed bbs and slide cycling issues.

      It really is a great plinker, not only because of the adjustable sights, but for POI consistency also.
      It is in the same category as the umarex glock17gen4 and the s&w m&p40. Almost perfect replica in aesthetic and function PLUS it plinks out to 45ft with consistent POI using iron sights.

    Okay so basically, only pull the trigger if you intend to fire it right away, and make sure it’s one full solid motion and let it reset fully before firing again. Don’t pull halfway to get it ready and then pull the final half to fire. I wanted to buy this gun bad but the reviews scared me off. Maybe I’ll try it.

    • @RWMAirgunsmithing
      @RWMAirgunsmithing  Рік тому +1

      You can take up the slack and hit the wall of the "first stage" and hold it if you want, just need to remember that you committed a bb into the barrel once you get there. If you decide to not fire for whatever reason after that, then you will have a loose bb inside the mechanism and if you dont deal with it the next time you pick up the slack in the first stage you will load another bb and potentially create jamming conditions.

  • @brorjordas1979
    @brorjordas1979 Рік тому +3

    Yes. All BB guns do not work the same. My ASG CZ P-07 is also this action shooter type of a BB pistol. If you pull slow halfway to release the trigger forward again, then you also might have loaded and maybe even dropped out the barrel a BB (if been pointing downwards). Just pull quickly when want to shoot kinda deal. I still haven't gotten myself a P365 but I surely would want one because I for sure love all of my Sigs. This moving internal barrel type though not being of my favorite types. But it surely seals up places better.

    • @RWMAirgunsmithing
      @RWMAirgunsmithing  Рік тому +1

      Aye, the moving inner barrel is not a new concept and definitely not a deal breaker. Once you know how it works you can easily deal with it.
      My brother has the HK MP5 and it also has a moving inner barrel and it kicks ass, it just isn't a perfect replica mechanically speaking.

  • @wayne387
    @wayne387 3 місяці тому +1

    It’s a training piece and guns jam so I guess it’s good? The trigger feeds the next bb so if you pull half back on fire leaves bb clip open pushing bbs into barrel. Full pull closes co2 cartridge.

    • @RWMAirgunsmithing
      @RWMAirgunsmithing  3 місяці тому

      I guess you can see it that way hehe, the biggest problem is the jamming is unpredictable. You can feed all the bbs into the barrel but it doesn't always create a jam.

      @@RWMAirgunsmithing you shouldn’t be feeding anything down a barrel unless it’s a musket. I just got mine and blasted about 10 co2 cartridges only one jam bc I didn’t pull trigger all the way back trying to get the quickest fire rate Pulled slide it carried on. Jeebus lol, sig really did a number on these guys! Do they all fall out the barrel or get stuck in the slide?
      From what i see on mine the only thing keeping the bbs in the mag once it is loaded is the proximity to the barrel. When the trigger is released the barrel moves forward to let the next bb up but it still is not far enough to let bbs out.
      The chamber end of the barrel should be about 1 bb away from your mag and there should be a metal hook thingy on the top part of the barrel that indexes into a notch on the mag when the trigger is pulled.
      It might be a jammy magazine valve and it doesn't shut properly after firing... causing all the bbs to be pushed out one by one.

    Hi, I have a p365 baby when the normal charge makes the first shot but then when I charge for the second time that according to what I've seen I don't have to charge it again they get like 2 or 3 bolines at the same time that could be the problem?

      for what my opinion’s worth, I’ve been running crosman black widows in mine and I haven’t had any ammo-related malfunctions. I have had a few issues where the gun won’t reset the internal hammer all the way, but I find that keeping the co2 cartridge/magazine warm and letting it gain some heat between magazines helps.

      @@RWMAirgunsmithing the daisy match bbs actually seem to work great. They only jam once in a while instead of multiple times per magazine. I didn't get a chance to measure them, but they do seem bigger and smoother.

    Hi! This worked at first just learning not to feather the trigger but now it still jams and fails to fire. I tried Umarex steel BBs to see if that would change anything but it needs to be racked every shot or the trigger won't pull and it gets jammed. I have two mags and it does this regardless of Co2 level. Any ideas would be appreciated! Its a cool gun when it works!
    One more note: If I field strip and pull the slide off it will fire 3-4 rounds without getting stuck on the same CO2 charge it had before stripping it. I also blew everything out with an air compressor and oiled anything that moves inside to see if it would help but still no.

    • @RWMAirgunsmithing
      @RWMAirgunsmithing  Рік тому

      Does the slide cycle fully, partially, or not at all when you need to rack the slide? If you need to rack it each time it means the slide is not sliding back fully.
      I currently have mine disassembled trying to fix the problem where the slide does not slide all the way forward.
      When you're airgun fires during field strip is that with the magazine removed?
