I've been looking for a bronze watch to add to my EDC for about 2yrs now and finally found one I like and can afford. I recently acquired this watch for a steel of a price and I love it. It's already starting to develop a beautiful patina after only wearing it 3 times. the best part is the watch matches my bronze Tactile Turn pen/pencil set and also matches my 2 EDC folder knives perfectly. I kind of wish Oris would've done the clasp a little differently being that I've had mine release on me just from catching that little lip but still very happy with this purchase. what I love the most about this watch is that the movement is one that I'm familiar with and is one that I'll be able to service myself being that it's based on the sellita sw200 movement which IMO is one of the easiest movements to learn on assuming you don't have a problem with making the investments on tools and oils needed to service your watch. the oils alone are pretty costly. even though they are costly they will last a very long time. I've done 4 services so far and can barely tell I even used any of them but I digress. all in all, I love this watch. I just hope that it patinas like my pen/pencil set did but either way this is now my daily wearer and I know I'll get many years of enjoyment out of it.
A super readable uncluttered watch Teddy with as you say a service any ware movement within. That strap clasp looks great as well with the matching bronze release. If I was considering a bronze watch this would probably be at the top of my list. Terrific photography as usual, it really shows that you put a lot of effort into the presentation.
Have to agree with you. A couple of weeks ago I was amusing myself binge watching the 'back catalogs' of my favorite watch youtubers. He certainly has come a long way. Nothing wrong with that 👌
Your videos need a warning label. I just experienced watch love at first sight. That’s an absolute stunner of a watch. I love how they blacked out the seconds hand except the tip. It’s there if you want it, but otherwise keeps the dial super clean. Oh my.
Great looking piece and the bronze looks really good and the dial is simple but very nice and easily readable. I’m still too broke for this one unfortunately but it can certainly be something I could save up for.
Great video Ted….. Nice watch ….. love bronze case and black dial combos….. looking for my first bronze watch and wish Oris added contemporary cathedral hands (aka Zenith) and a diamond crown (aka IWC) …. would buy it in a heartbeat….
Stunning bronze watch. Good video. Would be great if it had inhouse movement and a green dial like the Pro Pilot - TLP Limited Edition. Teddy, do you expect a green dial version?
Great video. Do all of the watches in the ProPilot line have applied numerals like this one? I prefer that over printed and this is the only review I can remember that mentioned it.
Damn how small are they if 40mm is too big? I have the opposite issue, even 40mm looks small on me, anything below that looks like a child’s watch on me.
One of the most underrated brands out there. I received the Big Crown Pro Pilot from Santa last year and it is a uncluttered beauty

Very tempted to buy.. These go for like 1.1 - 1.3k used. Excellent looking piece.
Beautiful, clean, almost everyday bronze watch (not quite dressy enough to be full everyday). Definitely top of the list of bronze options.
Oh that is a stunner! Imagine this with gilt hands and numeral surrounds, that would be hard to resist.
I'm not a bronze guy but this is beautiful.
I just bought a pre-owned one, love this watch. No mistaking the bronze. Looks good, and wears well. Love the strap too. Well executed. Thanks Teddy.

Great great watch!
Thanx for showing!!
The bronze looks stunning!!
I really wish oris would slim down the thickness and reduce the case size and make some sick field watches.
They are pilot watches, they are supposed to be big.
@@Jabber-ig3iw which is why I wish they’d make a field watch
There are some nice options from Hamilton.
40mm and 12mm thick is not big at all. A man's arm should be more than thick enough to pull it off.
@@bdegrdsthe 48mm length is the harder part to pull off, everything else sits fine

Wow that is a stunner
Teddy, how is this material ageing? Does it still looks good after a few years?
what a beautiful watch
Thank you Teddy. Just bought this watch from you and the James Morrison Edition.

I have a whale shark Aquis and it looks like I'll be paying the Oris AD another visit soon. The bronze really seems to accentuate the matt black dial.
Love this range of watches, this is stunning, probably not the one I’ll go for but it’s stunning.
Very pretty.
Stunning bronze watch. Good video. Would be great if it had inhouse movement and a green dial like the Pro Pilot - TLP Limited Edition. Teddy, do you expect a green dial version?
Why do these companies not use top tier lume? It should shine bright and long. No exceptions. No excuses.
A beautiful piece indeed 😍
Great jacket, excellent content, outstanding delivery 👏
Is the bronze coated, or will it oxidise?
Stunningly Gorgeous!!
I have one. Nice, but buckle a bit uncomfortable on the underside of wrist. Also the winder connection seems worryingly small and delicate.
Does anyone know which watch Teddy was wearing in this video. I really liked the cream dial.
Good vid Teddy
Any idea, why ORIS does not take the opportunity to use their inhouse 400 calibre for the new bronze ProPilot? Would make it much more desirable!
And much more expensive.
Beautiful!
Will this develop a patina? Some of the newer bronze alloys do not.
Next up, Big-Crown in 925 Stirling Silver.
My biggest request is that the big date get 100m water resistance.
Love the watch

The latest generation has it.
I second that.
wassup teddy!!! 😎✌️
Love it
A COSC certification would have made this watch perfect in this range of price.
I was all set to buy this until you said the lume fades fast...too bad
Honestly, which deskdiver or in this case deskpilot needs lime that lasts 12 hours?
Hi Teddy, with regard to the Oris Big Crown Pilot Bronze. Are we taking Tin Bronze or Aluminium Bronze in this instance?
Tin, CuSn8 I believe.

Many thanks for your input sir 👍
I'm not sure if coming first is to be boasted about...
that's what she said! (learnt this from the movies)
Thank God somebody axed that pointer-date arm.
The lance hands are just too damned thin for a pilot watch, where the legibility is supposed to absolutely jump down your throat.
If only there was a no date sigh...
Unfortunately way too big for my chicken wrist!
Damn how small are they if 40mm is too big? I have the opposite issue, even 40mm looks small on me, anything below that looks like a child’s watch on me.
Have you seen their young ladies line of watches?
#697👍🎉👏👏Stunning!!
The faux patina 🤮
It's too BIG.
This channel went from great to advert. Sad.
