Is it possible to put the car seat in the middle and if so, would that just make the front leg room issue worse for both? I know some cars have enough that the seat fits between the front seats and frees up space. Second, do the front seats raise and lower to help with clearance/visibility? Really want this model, but my wife will kill me if she has to look out the sun roof every time she gets in it.
if I get one I will try the front facing car seat. hopefully trading in a 2023 xt4 and getting into a 2021 model.
Thank you! Exactly the vid I needed.
Not a problem!
I am 5 11 as well. Can you please tell if you can sit behind your front seating position in the back seat? If a 5 11 person sits in front, what max height person could still sit on back seat? Thanks
Thank you for going straight to the point
I have an BMW E46 coupe and my wife wants me to get a new safe for kids. I want a 2 Series. How horrible would it be to go straight from a Liing to a forward facing car seat when the kid outgrows the Liing at 30Ibs? The forward facing combinations have a weight minimum of like 22 Ibs. Getting a 30-50 Ib kid in a rear facing car seat looks impossible.
@@avery4528 forward facing for a Foonf would be a minimum of 22lbs and liing’s max is 30. So technically it is possible. That being said, it’s safest for your child to be rear facing in the Foonf before turning forward facing. The week living with the m240 and my child while the Foonf was rear facing was quite back breaking 😅
Great video. But what about front facing car seat, still to tight ?
0:28 I turn the seat around to forward facing.
thanks for not giving us the run around
Do you think a booster seat would work without being a total pain thanks
Backless booster would be quite painless. (Should be)
Forward facing and booster should be ok right? My son is 2 and a half so we are past the rear facing seat. How hard will it be to lean in and buckle him up?
It’ll be much easier for a forward facing seat but just make sure it’ll fit the contour of the seat itself since they’re pretty upright.
That said as a Child Passenger Safety Technician I would recommend your child to be rear facing as long as possible. Generally speaking that’s around 4 years old.
@@JimmyMak Interesting. Thanks.
Question is can you actually get a child into the rear facing convertible seat when it’s in the car?!
Yes you can but with great difficulty. I did it for the week I had this car.
will a 5-6 yr old in a booster seat do well n this.
Limited headroom in the rear may become a problem. But it could vary depending on seat as well.
@@JimmyMak yeah it’s a shame. i think so to. but it looks so good. better then the 4 series 2 door. the m235i grand coupe is interesting maybe. and the x2 if I can get used to the hood and windshield when sitting in it. I didn’t like it’s view
That’s too tight. What a bummer! 😭
Looks like you gotta get the M3 😂
@@JimmyMak Haha, brother let’s not get ahead of ourselves here!
