SIX RULES FOR IMMIGRANTS | DO YOU AGREE?

  • The demographics of the UK have been transformed over my lifetime by uncontrolled, mass, immigration. People are different: they vary enormously in terms of their intelligence, skills, aptitudes, and their cultural values. This morning I watched a video of somebody who was almost certainly a good example of an immigrant who has reduced the standard of living in Britain, both in material, and in non-material, terms. As a British man living in Finland, I've had a few thoughts about what it might be to be a good immigrant. This is my Six Rules for Immigrants.

I'm a Brit and I spend the winters in S.E Asia , I do my very best to respect the culture and try to be polite to all the local people I come in contact with. I can get by with the language and make myself understood and try to make connections wherever I go. I love the culture and the friendliness of the people so I do my best to be accepted. I steer clear of the western style bars and try to give my business to the locals.

Pretty strong stuff, like rocket fuel... That was many years ago but I still keep in contact with a great friend from Turku. The 'visitor' who was highlighted on the video kinda reminds me of a another 'visitor' who was in my GP surgery a few months back. She was at the reception desk at about 2:30pm, slapping her hands on the counter in annoyance and demanding that she see a doctor.
Anyhow, what I could glean was, she was angry that there was no doctors appointment for her on demand when she landed at the surgery when the day was almost over. And to be honest, I felt sure she would have been warned about her aggression there and then, but instead the receptionist reassured her that she would ask the doctor if he would see her right away.
Course, if she was born here she would have had a warning there and then and possibly been banned from the surgery permanently. So it seems there's one rule for the visitors and another rule for the natives Nigel.
LOL, that video though, I totally could feel my blood boiling 😠

Totally agree Nigel. I moved to Spain 13 years ago and married my Spanish girlfriend who I´d met when she was on holiday in England. I was a Store Manager in the UK but started teaching English here. I´ve been at a secondary school now for 10 years. I love and respect the Spanish culture and have never claimed a penny in benefits. I hold my hands up and say I speak Spanish but not as fluently as I should but obviously I get by. What´s happened to the UK is heart-breaking, especially as it´s a deliberate policy.

    Excellent video.
For those who feel they are entitled to freeload off the British tax-payer, I look at it like this...
You remind me of a complete and utter stranger who just turns-up at your house, crashes through the front door, demands to be fed and watered, rifles through your wallet, takes your money, lays on your sofa, takes your car keys and goes for a drive, then sleeps in your bed etc., etc. And the next day someone else turns-up and does the same again and again and again...

I completely agree with your six immigration tests Nigel. Imagine if you were a native Libyan male, (or from anywhere else in the middle east) in your early 20's to 30's and someone tells you that the UK is desperate for people to migrate there as long as you can get there under your own steam. You'll be given free accommodation, and be entitled to all the 'free' stuff that the Brits get. You can apply for asylum if you can lie well enough about why you shouldn't be forced to go back from whence you came, etc, etc.. That is what's going on in order to fulfil a hidden UK Gov policy on getting as many culturally different people into the UK as possible. The Gov could very easily stop it and we all know this, but they don't. I bet Finland hasn't got this policy on attracting immigrants !

👍Great observation, true love of one's neighbor. One thing that was good when I was a kid 70 years back was the immigrants who embraced the melting pot idea. There were many kids whose parents and grandparents still spoke with heavy accents, but they spoke English and mixed with everyone in the neighborhood same as natives. There was no welfare. They had jobs and businesses in town and were proudly as assimilated as the rest of us. There were few if any hard feelings or mistrust exhibited against those who lived this way. Then also there were a few clans who were exclusive, believing their way was superior to us natives. There were some serious clashes as a result often due to over bearing attitudes, lack of communication skills and a downright hatred developed. It made it hard for the clanish to fit in, to gain trust and good will that is necessary to survive gainfully anywhere.

All very fair points. Here in the UK there are public parks where immigrant culture of having BBQ picnics in public parks extended to a point where the nuisance had to be dealt with by prohibition. At its height massive areas of damage was caused to the grass and if the BBQ products were taken to the public bins the extent was such that great piles of waste were left around the bin. My concern of the wider picture is that cultural accommodation will disappear and we will end up with what the source countries have - destructive tribalism.

I wish I was there. I would gladly paid for the balloons and flowers. You were able to read all her personal history, bravo. I recommend people to say openly that they don’t want anyone to come to Britain anymore. It much more effective way of solving the problem. In my opinion it’s not racism or far right to say that. Country is not able to run itself, bankrupt. Britain doesn’t need more problems they can’t solve.

It is a nice idea but will never work. With immigrants we do have Economic Man and the call to benefits will always be louder than the call to prayer.
Interestingly, Grimmelshausen and Simpliccimus in the Thirty Years War ending in 1648 describes a retinue of hangers-on. Germany has more now than ever. They will always be with us.

It may be just a feeling but since this immigration is happening in multiple countries with similar issues, could it be possible a worldwide catastrophe is about to take place in the countries these illegals are coming from? If it was just the US in the equation I could understand this phenomenon better but it is more then the destruction of the US. Any insight?

I only speak in Finnish to the locals - if they want to switch to English, because they want to hone their English speaking skills I am happy for that too - but I always start off in Finnish. Sometimes if I am feeling militant, I will continue to speak in Finnish when somebody just switches to English without saying anything first.

They're not coming from bombed countries. I didn't bomb any countries, never have. The people who did will not be affected by this invasion as they are 1% elite and their hangers on. Our standard of living is dropping regardless of how hard we work. We can't even get unskilled work because the newbies are getting it. They are also the replacements for the carers who refused to get jabbed. It is being done deliberately to destroy our country.

@@nigelwatson2750 Yes, agreed for immigrants but refugees are different. You're mixing the two.
Refugees are being used as scapegoats. There is an asylum processing backlog that the Tories deliberately created and are using to money launder and wind up the population, blaming them for the state of the economy.
I don't believe anyone goes to the UK for the 'free benefits' anymore! The benefits are some of the lowest in Europe.

But legal imigrants work and pay taxes as well and so if one becomes a citizen then all rights should be equal of course the sane rule does not apply to illegal or refugges this is what the mix up sone people dont understands the very fact one leaves their original country could be of so many factors like govt policy in their country of origin corruption like a south african faces in their country, religious persecution and conflicts. So not all people migrate for benifts so its wrong to say people migrate for gaining benifts from new country. Some people migrate for change of experience. Or they are unhappy in the country of origin due to corruption, govt policys. Whats happening in britian is sad the muslims are ruining the same would not be if one goes to muslim country so i dont see why this particular religon is so disruptive if they cannot adabt to brits way of life then they should reside in muslim countrys only where they follow the same laws and culture. So high time some thing needs to be done about this one sided evil religon. Taking people from persecution is one thing but abiding the rules if the country is also necessary.
