because the definition of "Monarch" is either king, queen, or emperor. So as you know we don't have a king, queen or emperor.

@@robertagallant3819 Not many, monarchy was usualy replaced by democracy as the people wanted to have bigger influence on their country. America for example wanted to get rid of the British influence thus the war for independence and that independance and freedom is kinda opposite to monarchy so Americans elected their representatives and have been doing so ever since.
