Correct! If you pause the video, you'll actually notice that it's the high beams lol. They don't even show you what the projector low beams look like. They know if they did, people would be scratching their heads 😆
My only guess is they didn’t want to possibly destroy the OEM set up incase they want to reverse back or to prevent error code? I’m going to try and cut entire HID 😊
NOPE! Don't do this! Factory HID components in Toyota/Lexus are super high quality, LED bulbs aren't as bright, nor do they have the precision optics needed! This is a MAJOR downgrade. And this guy's "installing" these bulbs with scissors from the kitchen (not proper side cutters/flush cut snips), t-taps (never EVER use those!) and leaves the high voltage ballast powered! This is just pure ignorance. One of those Denso ballasts costs more than both those bulbs and for good reason. Lastly, this will trip up the car's computer and will disable your auto aiming headlights, if your car is equipped with them! Plus you'll get to enjoy a constant DING DING DING and error messages on your dash!

Thanks for the video. Very helpful. My niece bought new headlights but were Halogen and so we downsize from HID.
After change from hid to led. The car system show "please check headlight system". Any solution to bypass this error code?
There’s a fuse you remove under the dash
Hi, where is comparison light output and and cut off? What is the point to change from hid to led?
The led beam pattern dosnt match the hid factory cut off, useles

Why not just remove the whole HID system?
I was thinking the same thing. U r tapping pre-ballast anyway right?
@@aaronching5129yeah I was thinking that, may as well remove the ballast and wire connector
