That was a great reaction, but this is nothing to the experience you get watching her live. Last July in Norway she sang 18 songs, all amazing. But, her interaction with the crowd and her stage presence was off the scale. At the end of the concert people were in shock, didn't want to leave, then she came back on stage to thank everyone.
I've been a fan of this young superstar for over 3 years now. I think every song she covers is better than the original but her Adele covers are by far the most beautiful and unbelievable things I have ever heard. Adele is a talent that doesn't need anyone to brag her up, her song writing skills do that. That said Angelina just makes those songs so much different with totally new nuances so they actually feel like new songs. Not just Adele but all of her covers. Somehow she brings out the emotions that are meant to be felt that the original artists attempt but are not able to swing. I also wonder if Adele is aware of Angelina's revamping of her songs. Maybe in a few months time after Angelina demolishes her first Grammys the powers that be make a deal for a televised special where these 2 powerhouses are brought together. Only 15 here, her family and friends have always protected Angelina from the dangers faced by many young talented people. They have allowed her to follow her passion for singing at the same time as allowing her to lead a happy childhood. My opinion, better than Adel… there’s another song that’s an original. She wrote to her parents. Called Shield, you have to listen to the lyrics in that one. One of the lines is, I’m sorry for all that I am. She sang it when she was 12 years old dedicated to her parents. The barefoot princess is absolutely an angel sent from Heaven.

Yeah it's an onslaught really. I don't know about 2.0. They mean different things to both of them. For Adele it's to her son, about her divorce. But sure I mean difficulty and beauty edge to the one and only Angelina Jordan here, yeah. Both perfect. But Angelina's vocal beauty and impossible perfection through the vocal arrangement is a bit unfair. Who does all that breathiness, soul, and impossible transitions between techniques and registers so flawlessly. It's gotten worse actually, now her control is so OP and her transitions often don't even exist now.
Adele deserves enormous credit for her songwriting and her performances, but she does not have the vocal tools Angelina does. Actually, I’ve never heard anyone who can match Angelina’s stunning performances across so many different genres. There is a perfect example of what you wished for. Plenty singers have great range but it’s Angelinas tone and phrasing that makes her the BEST
She is unbelievably talented and even now she's only 17 ,yet she is constantly compared to women in there 30s .I believe we are watching the beginning of a world class star ,not someone turning out hits for 14 year old young ladies I just hope she stays healthy
I agree that this is better than the original. This is also the conclusion of most vocal coaches & reactors that I've seen, some have even analyzed both versions, line by line. As others have said, you need to hear what she did to Adele's, All I Ask. My #1 Angelina song is her cover of the jazz standard, My Funny Valentine when she was barely 16 yo. My opinion, better than Adel… there’s another song that’s an original. She wrote to her parents. Called Shield, you have to listen to the lyrics in that one. One of the lines is, I’m sorry for all that I am. She sang it when she was 12 years old dedicated to her parents. The barefoot princess is absolutely an angel sent from Heaven.

This is mind boggling when you realize that her lungs won't be fully developed

because Angelina has been musically mentored by the most improvisational singer

it into a song of the same name and it was banned throughout the south. Still, it sold over
a million copies. Anyone who listens to the full catalog of Billie's music will realize where
Angelina draws all her inspiration from.

She was 15 y.o here. And this was taken in probably 2-3 shots. I heard Adele used several weeks with this song because some notes was to difficult for Adele. Besides Adele sings it with less feelings.

Yeah it's an onslaught really. I don't know about 2.0. They mean different things to both of them. For Adele it's to her son, about her divorce. But sure I mean difficulty and beauty edge to the one and only Angelina Jordan here, yeah. Both perfect. But Angelina's vocal beauty and impossible perfection through the vocal arrangement is a bit unfair. Who does all that breathiness, soul, and impossible transitions between techniques and registers so flawlessly. It's gotten worse actually, now her control is so OP and her transitions often don't even exist now.

Adele deserves enormous credit for her songwriting and her performances, but she does not have the vocal tools Angelina does. Actually, I’ve never heard anyone who can match Angelina’s stunning performances across so many different genres. There is a perfect example of what you wished for. It’s a mash-up video of Adele and Angelina (at 12) singing alternate verses of Adele’s beautiful, melancholy song, “A Million Years Ago”.
We’ve known for a long time how good Adele is, but watch how Angelina can truly mesmerize you with her voice and especially her interpretation of this beautiful song in this impromptu acoustic performance. This is probably my second favorite performance by her, after her cover of Lauren Daigle's "You Say", which she sang as a thank you to all of her fans during her live, digital Christmas concert on December 23rd 2021.
