Queen loved her performance of Bohemian Rhapsody and gave her the copyright to her version.
"She just completely improved this song, in my opinion." Dude ... haha, I say that about 95% of the songs that Angelina has covered! The only exceptions *might* be the chill tribute covers that Angelina publishes on UA-cam when one of the singers she respects passes away. On those, she sings beautifully (of course), but is only doing it to show her respect, not to put too much of her own indelible stamp on the song. There are several on UA-cam; the one that comes to mind immediately is the "Natural Woman" cover that she laid down when Aretha Franklin passed. If you keep going with Angelina, you can ID those vids b/c they simply fade to black at the end. She's just a class act ... and a treasure.
I believe this is the greatest AGT Finale ever.
The artist and violinist were amazing but Angelina blew it out of the water.
She is just an incredibly amazing women.
Angelina lived her dream coming true this night...all her talent, magic, skills were called upon by her heart, and her voice took center stage....it also captured our hearts, and delighted our ears...mezmerized...we knew there & then... she'd shared her love with us...SOAR sweet Angel....take wings and SOAR....Very glad you watched this compilation..

There's a very special video from her grandmother Mery Zamani's channel that shows Angelina in the studio at age 11. She does a one-take rehearsal of the Frank Sinatra standard I'm A Fool To Want You that shows off her amazing voice with minimal accompaniment and production. @@hans-georgschroter7887 I'm pretty sure Frank Sinatra wrote I'm A Fool To Want You. Fly Me To The Moon was written by Bart Howard. In terms of recordings, I think both songs have been covered by lots of folks. That's a good point, though. :)
Awesome reaction John. Watching her grow in her craft has been a wonderful experience. The lay back, soft touch and story telling ability she has is brilliant.
Bohemian Rhapsody was her 1st Performance (audition?) & the fact that Heidi Klum gave her the Golden Buzzer allowed her to skip the next round & go straight to the finals (10 finalists) where she sang Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. She failed to get in the top 5 of the finalists, so she was out of the competition. The 3-way collaboration in Someone You Loved was part of the Grand Finale the last night when they announced the winners. The sand artist was a guest who competed the previous year & the 12 yo violinist took 4th or 5th place, ahead of Angelina, which is ridiculous as far as I'm concerned.
Some have said that Angelina‘s parents turned down Simon’s offer of a contract and so Angelina did not get into the final. In my book, turning down Simon was the right thing to do. Simon needed to Angelina more than Angelina needed Simon. She is now with Republic records and just about to start going big when she gets out of high school. Think about that. She’s done all this and still is not out of high school.
@@lurkerinthetube Please do me a favour: don't comment when "Some have said..."....I can give you an exact quote, if you like, of Uncle Mike's interview with Music Norway where he said that after having turned AGT down in the past due to their restrictive contracts, they eventually offered a contract that would free Angelina of any obligations when she performed....And her receipt of the golden buzzer automatically made her a finalist.

Sarah Bereilis sang this song in 2013 I believe . Elton John said her version was great . he was a big fan of Bereilles . But Angelina always makes a song her own no matter who , what

I swear AJ is a perfect persuasion point for genre unity. Which is basically an expression of love for music. What has been done and what can I do with this song is her approach. Beautiful enlivening and inspirational. I adore her so much.

I love the soft happy look that comes over your face watching her. I was married to a bass player for a short while but 4 years together taught me much. She’s incredible and I get that same goofy look lol 😊. I also sang but unfortunately my voice for high notes of gone. I can still kill a few songs in my range. Buy I’ll leave the music to you and Angelina.

John, at age 11, she sang at a concert in South Korea, Nora Johns had asked her. When she came back out, telling the audience, if it was ok to sing one more song, more than foutythousand voices shouted an enthusiastic YES. 40,000+, a few hundred people are nothing to get nervous about, only Simon.

This is what Angelina based her version on. Elton John REALLY loved this version when it came out in 2014! I'm thinking that Angelina may have collaborated with Sara Bareilles for her 2020 AGT rendition. Both were LA girls at the time...

Im concerned about her on stage with all the electrical equipment barefooted. Im a country girl from Kentucky and i love going barefoot. But ive heard of musicians getting electrocuted on stage from faulty equipment.
I prefer the goodbye yellow brick road performance but I may be the only one lol all are amazing though

What’s going on on the stage took away from Angelina performance this was not a good idea but all the people in front of her she should’ve been a center of attraction just took away from performance. This cost them to lose the show to not ran because of this performance too much going on I should’ve highlighted her and her only, but they didn’t.

Sara Barielles is the one who originally did the arrangement she sang of the Yellow Brick Road. Elton John reached out to Sara and praised her for her arrangement and performance. He sang a duet with her at one of her concerts and said no one ever needed to do another cover of his song. Angelina sang it beautifully but it wasn't her arrangement.
What is amazing is that she is only 13 there. She is now 17/18. Can you imagine her at 30? Gorgeous

I felt Angelinas performance was a little lost in all the cheering and clapping in the last song. But here version is one of the best I have heard of this song. You might listen without looking at what is going on stage.
