I love you visions for everything you buy, and see how it can be used as beautiful decor
We have 2 resellers in my area that inherited an old farmhouse in good repair. They decided to use it as a venue for their business. They restore and paint furniture. They thrift and yard sale. Every 3 months, they hold a 3 day open house and the house is filled with items to buy. Everyone loves it. I’ve heard they sell out most sale weekends. They do such a beautiful job! It’s like a open house party. Very crowded the first day by people eager to see how they it’s set up each time. And, of course, they buy, buy, buy.
That sounds like so much fun!
It is so nice to see a young person like you loving old things! So many young people want new, new, new!
Awww, I love thank you called me “young” 😂😊 Thank you!!
Yay I collect Blue Willow all kinds 🤗💕
These videos are my favorite. I love to see the many treasures you find and the information that you give with them. Your thrift haul videos have helped me keep an eye out for things I would have skipped over before. I would love to see more of these!
I love the way you present your hauls.
I am loving your channel! I just found your channel recently and love your excitement for thrifting! I feel the same way! And in this video I loved your idea with the organ keys. I use big old mason jars to store pretty things like spools of thread from my husbands grandmothers sewing collection. It's so pretty with all the candy coloured thread from the 50's and 60's! Thanks for sharing your ideas!
ooh miniatures yes im a sucker for those items and doll houses
adore the idea of the mailbox and greens omg beautiful!!
Super fantastic show! I liked the piano keys and not too sure what I would do with it.
Love the blue and white items.
Me too! Thanks!

Melanie, such great finds! Love your styling as usual.
The books are gorgeous, the piano keys, blue & white, love it all!
It’s funny about milk glass. It does seem to be getting popular again.💙
Thank you! And yes, it’s like brass-getting hard to keep in stock! When a few years ago, I had brass candlesticks like crazy and couldn’t give them away 😂
I love that old mail box!
👏👏 Me too. I think it’s a great piece
Hi Melanie. I like how you demonstrated how to use the items in displays.

I would love some old books to put in a vigniette, but never find them in our thriftstores.
LOVE candlesticks! That litle piano is so sweet!!!!
I love different and unique.
Hi Heidi!! Thanks so much for watching and all your comments! I spent a few days in Belgium once… way back in 2001 😊 I hope to travel again to Europe before too much longer! Funny how we find different things depending on where we are, I bet I would love some of your thrift finds!
Thank you! Great information 👍
yes love old books omg ! will check out your fb items!
Really cute pieces.
Thanks so much!
I like your suggestion of bundling books that are the same color! I'll have to try that in my booth! You found some great items! When you do these videos, would you consider showing us how much your items sold for? I'm always curious!
I don’t mind sharing that, if it would be helpful! I’ll be sure and add that info in to my next haul video :)
@@LostFoundDecor Thanks so much! Your videos are full of wonderful tips!
I know exactly where this mall is! It’s one of my favorites!
Yay! Maybe we’ll see each other
Melanie do you ever thrift items and upcycle them for resale?! I would love to see you so your upcycles if you do 😁 When you showed the piano keys and said that you saw people craft with them, I was thinking that I would love to also watch you craft with those 💖💞
I SO wish I was more crafty Amber! I cycle in and out of having craft inspiration, I think I’m in a season now of my creativity being exhausted daily by my kiddos 😂😂 But those pump organ keys didn’t sell, so I may tinker with them some and see what I can come up with 😊 Honestly, my favorite items for resale are things that I can sell as-is, just because time is $, you know? So if I can double or triple the price on an item as-is with no work needed, it’s an easy win. Thanks for watching today!
@@LostFoundDecor Oh I completely understand Melanie 😊 I purchase a lot of items that just need to be cleaned up before resale but my favorite thing to do is to make something out of nothing 😍 I will upcycle anything I can get my hands on!
I am still VERY interested in the next bootcamp and absolutely looking forward to it 💜 I would have jumped in right after this last one started if I had seen your message but I never saw it until this past Sunday 😔 You are such a huge wealth of knowledge and I cannot wait to soak up as much of that knowledge as I can 💞
That’s how my Mom is-she’s always sending me ideas of what I can make!
@@LostFoundDecor Us creatives have to keep busy and get out ideas out or we would go crazy 🤯🤣
I think I would get along just great with your mom 😊💞
Would you ever consider teaching us how to do a Facebook live sale? Thanks Elizabeth
Great idea! I would be glad to
@Lostabdfounddecor Yes I’d love to see that as well as how to do an instagram live. It would be so helpful since I have zero idea how to do it 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Yes! I actually did a video on how to host a FB live sale. ua-cam.com/video/bdk6YXA-w5w/v-deo.html
Plant stakes for organ keys
I love that idea!!
Oh my gosh I didnt know you do Facebook live sales!! Do you also ship??
Yes! I ship throughout the US :) Just had a sale Wednesday night, it’s still up with lots of treasures still left!
What online venues, besides Facebook, do you use to sell your treasures?
Hi! I sell on Instagram, and also on my online shop :)
Where are you located? I thought you said Dallas then I saw NW Arkansas?
I was in the Dallas area for 11 years, move to NW Arkansas in May of 2019 :)
When you say for profit, are you hoping to triple your price from what you purchased it for?
Yes, on average :) Sometimes it’s more than that, sometimes a bit less. But overall, tripling a price is a good goal!
Thank you!!❤
I'm surprised that you keep confusing pressed glass with cut glass.
Just curious, how do you sell for a profit when you tell ppl what you paid for the item? Do they not see your videos and ask?
You would be surprised :) Some people don’t want to go out and hunt themselves and are happy to pay to have it selected and cleaned up for them. Different audiences also :)
Which state do you live in please ?
Hi there! I’m in NW Arkansas
