I like to listen to music and podcasts when I am out solo riding. Especially on longer gravel rides and long mountain bike climbs, it helps pass the time and keep focus. There are often a lot of different concessions you have to make with bone conduction headphones and ear buds that make them less than perfect for riding. Are these "wearable stereo" headphones from Oladance the answer? Find out in the review today and see if you want to use them for your next ride.

Great review. Just got these and took mine out for a ride on my bike and you are spot on. I got them as dedicated for cycling as i already have Airpod pros for most other purposes. I had been using Airpod pros on my bike combined with Garmin Varia app and they were pretty effective. With the noise cancelling of course they are better for cutting wind sound but i wanted to have better access to ambient sound. I took a chance following a review by UA-camr Clint Gibbs and i am glad i did. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound, very full and they feel much more secure than my Airpods. I was constantly checking my airpods on gravel rides and the battery is no where near as good especially if you are out for the day. Biggest drawback is how touchy the controls are. Not a problem for cycling as i use the music controls on my Garmin Edge computer but yesterday on a rainy the hood of my raincoat kept touching the side of the headphone and pausing or starting, very annoying. I will keep them as i feel they are a perfect compromise for cycling. My ride was a fairly windy ride and it definitely can have an impact but i would rather that than a surprise. However, i was always able to clearly hear the beep from my Garmin Varia app.
Steve, thanks for taking the time to weigh in with your experience. I have a lot of the same experience you did with these as well. I also have an issue with my AirPods where one side randomly won't charge (and you have to charge them more often like you said).

What are you using as headphones out on the trail or are you against using them all together?
I really like my aftershokz bone conducting headphones. I do not get vibration as you mentioned. I also like the one piece design versus having 2 separate ear pieces, and no problem with wearing glasses. Thanks for sharing your review.
Different brands probably have varying degrees of how much they vibrate. I haven't tried the Aftershokz but the ones I do have tend to vibrate a lot if you like to turn the bass up. For things like phone calls, podcasts or non-bass heavy music...it isn't as bad.
@@Bike198 I did try cranking up the volume on aftershokz and they did vibrate do you are correct.
Thanks a lot for sharing. As a new rider I was looking for something like this for when I'm solo, and, as you mentioned, I find the vibration from the bone conduction style to be annoying.
I'll definitely have to try these out.
The vibration kills it for me on bone conduction
Thanks for your reviewing the Oladance and the Sony Linkbuds from a cycling perspective. Which has the better sound, and which has the better mic when riding?
I love the mic on the linkbuds myself! Also prefer the look and fit. But that battery life Oladance has is tempting.. I have yet to try these
Can you make an review of Livall LTS 21 Pro ?
You have a motorcycle helmet right behind you.. have you tried these with a motorcycle. People have recommended using bone conduction earphones with ear plugs while riding as an alternative to a cardo. That is why I’m asking…
something that worked pretty well for these is cat ears (www.cat-ears.com/) they do allot to mitigate the wind noise.
Try Cat Ears
