The scenes in the hospital was actually pretty haunting; imagine the fate of those newborn babies.... :'(
Some were probably partially eaten by the predalien. And the drones. If any survived food for the chestbursters .Any others they missed would have been nuked.
Since the city get nuked, the baby was presumed to be killed while later their souls enjoyed their better life in heaven.

This is what turns me mad in this film. I mean, the directors didn't get a problem of killing a young boy on screen, babies... but they couldn't get the little girl killed too? She was only there to scream, such a pointless character that could die too, just like Newt in Aliens. This is why I don't like Aliens.

When predator removed his masks and anklets. That time was very do and die situation for him and this adds so much adrenaline to the scene.

The guys behind AVP 2 scrip actually get it, the original Predator was legendary for it's mysterious character, suspense and badass characters. After this you can no longer "hide" the creature and create suspense, but you can make the Predator the main character of the film, make it the most badass predator ever and have a brutal bloodfest of a film. This was the only film that did it and had us all rooting for the Predator from start to finish. It's a trashy film, but it does fit it perfectly. That's how you make a Predator film, aliens or no aliens involved. In my opinion the best since the original.

The one thing that disappointed me about this movie the most was that most of the scenes were dark because it was at night, they were underground, etc and watching it during the daytime I wasn't able to see shit most of the time. If I ever rewatch it I'll make sure I watch it at night with no lights on.

This movie is not that bad i liked how Predalien wanted revenge on Predators after what they did to her Queen and Siblings so she needed army to take on Predators Grid should been Queen in the second movie she proved it and Queen could choose her as next Queen of the Hive
Correction : Grid would have becomes Praetorian rather becomes 'Queen'. I know Grid referred to as 'male' despite being hermaphroditic like the rest of his drone siblings. He would becomes Praetorian, since according to some alien novel canons, Praetorian is final stage of xenomorph and presumably the only male to hive.
It's not good. They have some great elements (when you can see them) like Wolf, who deserved his own film, and the xenomorphs, but the rest is nothing but awful. Who TF put a WB teen drama in the middle of an AVP movie??? Seriously! The human side of the film is like a SyFy original.

The Predator Alien is something I've wanted to see since I first saw the dog alien from Alien 3. It did not disappoint. Wonderfully disgusting and perfectly terrifying. I thought the face huggers and the little bastards popping out of your chest was fucked up, but the Predator Alien who can put babies down their throats and like 5 of them bust out of a woman's belly where here baby was just about to come out is just fuckin gross lol but I love it. To see a whole nest of them in that woman's belly and she was still alive to watch it. Wow. Then the rest of the women know what they have to look forward too. To have a predator alien is crazy enough but apparently she's a queen because she can make her own, no eggs needed and at least 5 or more per person. That's a REAL infestation! I thought it was cool that it made the hospital it's hive after the sewer didn't work out.

I think that ruins a bit the realism and mechanics of the aliens species to give Predalien ability to lay so many eggs and so that they look the same as those after facehugger

@@Rottensparrow actually believe it or not there are predalien queens, you can find one in the game AVP extinction, you get assistance from even an ancient predator to take her down and collect her skull, guess the predalien works the same as a praetorian, they molt till they get to the predalien queen, this predalien in the movie would be like a praetorian predalien, otherwise it would be the same size has the queen from the avp movie (2004), the one on the antarctica.
The only thing I didint like about this movie is my boi wolf had to die..but it made for a great fight ending.
For the sake of curiosity, do we actually have the ability to drop such high effect bombs from our fighter jets? Never served nor taken the time to do research on such weapons so I have no clue.
A nuke can be dropped from a fighter jet. But I think that free falling nukes are obsolete at this point and are no longer in use. It should have been a tactical nuclear missile.
Go to Wikipedia and look up the Titan II missile. It's already obsolete and it was a bad ass nuke that would go into space and come back in at like 17,000 mph and wipe out a LOT of shit lol. They are outdated too which means we have much better than that now.
The B-61 nuclear bomb can be dropped from something as small as an F-16, so yeah it's definitely possible.

Anyone know what "rank" this "Wolf" held in their society? Since he just casually upped and left seemingly without asking permission or anything, like he went solely as part of a "clean up"...? Are we to assume that the reason he got that footage was because someone higher up sent it to him to investigate and clean up, or are we to assume that he was already "higher" up and checked up on the "lower" crew thus finding the footage and decided to go out and clean up...?
i'm basically a newb at this, but from what I understand there are clan leaders, elders and even a king. Likely, Wolf was an elite predator, similar to a special ops for humans. Likely there is an elder that is greater than him, and after the elders is the king (but the King is rare and not sure if he existed at this time or whatever). So, Wolf is like the elite predator they call upon when all the other military fuck shit up, and the elders and king are above him. Wolf was a highly respected and skilled predator, like a champion

I enjoy Predator and Alien, so naturally I loved the AVP concept. But, Requiem was kinda lackluster to a certain degree. Loved the hybrid, the Predalien, but the final battle it had with Wolf was just so “ehh”. Still a great movie though!

Most scenes in this Predator movie are way too gory. Some might prefer the original movie with Arnold.
while AVP Requiem is by no means a good film with the worst character development of any Alien/Pred movie, it is not a completely negative film. I kind of accepted the story and enjoyed the action despite it being too dark to see all the details. it's a movie that has so much potential despite it being badly filmed.

I liked the two earlier Predator Movies but every scene in this darn movie is in the dark or vary little light, they forgot to turn the lights on. Darkness hides a lot of flaws that would show up in a broad daylight shot movie.

I can't stand the humans in this! The only humans in an Alien or Predator films should be fighters (Ripley, Hicks, Lex, Harrigan, etc.)! I knew this movie was gonna be a mess once I saw there were children and "teens," same with the most recent Predator movie (Newt was an exception because she wasn't annoying and she was helpful and quiet most of the time). Whatever genius thought putting children and "teen" drama and focus on regular people in an AVP movie shouldn't be allowed to make movies again. The only good thing about this movie is Wolf! You can't even see anything. Why spend all that money on effects only to obscure them? Ugh.
